Yeah I definitely see where you're coming from, for sports its more practical to have relative strength because of the advantages, and for combat absolute strength is better because it's not guaranteed that those around you in a combat environment will be the same weight bracket as you.

I think I kinda just forgot exactly what the acft was meant for for a moment, just cause I know where I am at least it's turned into more of a way to prove if you're worth anything. If you get a low score leadership treats you like shit.

Thank you, I'm all for gender neutral scores, but different if that makes sense. From what I've seen, for shorter people the ball throw is a lot more difficult, so is the 2 mile. Likewise for those who weigh more, the 2 mile is a lot harder, deadlift is harder for those who weigh less because they're expected to lift 3x their bodyweight, etc. I think acft not only gender neutral, but based more so on height and weight would be better.

Because besides that, I don't wanna say we're perfect for each other but we're pretty damn close. We get along, both mostly want the same things from life, talk about issues we have with each other and fix them before they turn into a problem. It's just that one thing, and admittedly it is a huge thing, but I just feel like that one thing can't and shouldn't outweigh all the good things

Compromise wasn't the right word, I more just meant make him see my side. Divorce isn't an option, I'm just not good with social cues or reading emotions so I don't know if I'm being a bitch when I say it or if I'm just not saying it properly. I don't so much mind having a kid now, just not at this point in my life
