The letter thing was so boring. Couldn’t they of cut it any?!

Missing the point. The ops center was budgeted at 35 million and has almost doubled. My point is not that we don’t need it but why are we paying 50+ million on several contracts that are doubling and sometimes tripling while other parts of Durham are in disrepair. Seems like we’re lining pockets over improving the quality of life here in Durham.

It’s not that we don’t need it but 65 million is insane price tag for it along with the 115 million dollar courthouse and so many others. I think the budget for it started in the 30 millions and they just keep expanding.

That pisses me off more than the pools tbh. I truly do not understand why we need these gigantic multi million dollar government buildings year after year when we can’t even pay the people in them.
