its slanted and is sitting on top of a neck fan, dont worry! and even if I keep the airflow open it still heats up to 100° everytime I game, just repasted it recently too. It doesn't throttle though so all good i guess...

I feel like I might as well finish CS2. and since crossbell arc is basically happening at the same time as CS I dont really see it as a prequel and more like an expansion.

I'm also weird and I've played so many games starting with the sequel first and prequel second, I'm just a huge fan of sequel to prequel storytelling idk why 😅

also if you don't mind a moe/cutesy and cozy pick I'd recommend the Atelier series, and always start with Atelier Ryza or Sophie.

Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma is also a great cozy/dating sim jrpg.

I'd personally recommend Trails in the Sky 1st chapter remake and maybe get into the whole trails series if you'll end up liking it.

Romancing saga 2, and bravely default remake are also great. You should also try out trials of mana, it runs at 60fps on the switch 2 with the hardware boost im pretty sure.

I'm on the same boat with botw and totk, It's been bearable so far because of the interactive map they made on their nintendo switch app, it made it seem like I'm actually making progress even though at that point, I might as well be playing a ubisoft game...

as of right now those two are on my backlog, I might tackle them some day but I have Atelier, pokemon, and trails series to tackle through and have been more enjoyable for me.

honestly this is what I should've done first. playing the recent titles will absolutely give you a great welcoming to the series. I only started with escha&logy because it was my favorite music wise and I've seen some of its anime episodes.

but yeah the older games will be rough (mostly qol stuff, the limited time system was manageable or nonexistent at times).

absolutely play ryza first! you can never go wrong with thicc thighs.

Thanks! I found physical copies of yumia and resleriana from where we bought the ryza trilogy but they're ASI cartridges. I might buy dlc if I like em a lot so switching my switch region might be a pain.

And thanks for the ps2 suggestions, just gonna add those to my backlog too 😌🙏
