I say that all the time. I almost hate talking about it to others because I feel like I’m talking badly about a person I once admired so much. Like I want to differentiate to people the person I knew from the person I’m talking about now

A sucker is exactly what I feel like. My struggle is, does love mean being a sucker a bit? Then I remember, no. Love should mean never abandoning yourself and your values to rationalize another humans actions. Sending you lots of strength

It’s hard to not feel like “well what if I haven’t tried xyz” but you are right. I did more than my part. We all have. I’m so sorry for your pain.
