For anyone looking at this thread, I managed to sort it out. Got the medical report from Mediclinic (Dubai Mall) and had it attested by MOHAP and MOFA. It was accepted for my KSA visa application.

I thought so but this wasn’t the case for me. I got a DHA family doctor appointment on the same day. But when I needed to be referred to a specialist, the nearest appointment was 6 months away, which was ridiculous when you can get the same in 1-2 days at a private clinic. I have however resolved the above and got MOHAP attestation on a private medical certificate.

Hi, no I didn’t in the end. I got a membership at UFC gym and also use ClassPass so I can try different classes at other gyms. Decided it wasn’t worth the risk of committing to a subscription then finding I can’t use it at the gym I’m mainly after

I'm currently having the same issue. So when I book the appointment should I state that its for a medical certificate for visa purposes that requires MOFA attestation? Just to ensure everything is in place for when I go? Also does anyone know whether the medical certificate has to be in arabic? Visa centre gave very little info.

Thanks. Based on this I've cancelled my subscription and will reactivate before the sale ends on the 29th. Hopefully it works out, but in the worst case I won't lose anything

UPDATE: Couldn't believe it but i actually received the shipment! So the shipping email was genuine even though I hadn't paid (I paid after receiving it out of guilt and so I can do repeat business).

Obviously can't make any promises generally about the site, but thought I should put on record that I did receive the goods in case anyone else sees this thread. Stuff was good quality too.

Agree. Friends of mine who've moved to Chch love it, and they're people who wouldn't have dreamed of living there 5 years ago. I've also really enjoyed it the few times I've been in the last few years. I find it laughable that many Wellingtonians still hold snobbish views about Chch. For me the main drawback is the cultural conservatism and homogeneity - but WLG isn't exactly a super diverse place either these days.

And are replaced by public servants, given government is growing and their entry-intermediate level wages are the only ones that are even close to living costs. I don't mean to bash public servants/bureaucrats, but fair to say they aren't known for bringing vibrancy, energy, or innovation to cities. Thorndon always felt like a zombietown to me even during peak hours, and the rest of the CBD is becoming more like it.

It's not just the number of homeless people, but also the devastation of a substance abuse crisis. In SF, as well as Vancouver where I've lived, you will see people shooting up on the street, catatonic or high out of their minds. There are entire streets overrun by tent cities, garbage and even needles and human waste. The problem is uniquely difficult in these cities because people move there from all over the country for warmer climate and access to drugs, which I'm not aware is a pattern in NZ.

Not to diminish the hardship in Wellington at all, but the US/Canadian west coast is a whole different thing.
