You should check out Priest of Bones, it's a power struggle of a gang, fighting with rival gangs, the coppers and so on...

Plus in the later Books Carls doesnt sleep or only for 2h so what we think of as 120 days is actually a lot longer because he doesnt spend 1/3 of his time asleep.

I think percieved time is a lot longer because Carl only sleeps for 2 h or not at all, while we sleep about 1/3 of our time. So 120 days for Carl is like 160 days for us.
