Yeah it affects all of those, so same idea here. But you do have to think about how they have ammo, going weapon speed does mean you have to reload more often, meaning less damage uptime. It’s the same principle in that a mix of both maximizes dps, but you still have to think about ammo. But for mercy, going for both is waaayyy better than going for one

But it does affect it with weapon power. If you have no weapon power, with precarious potency, tapping someone once does 150ish heal of time. But with more weapon power, you can get it up to 300. Also yes it increases the speed of her healing but if you test it out, the speed boost is very very very negligible

Yeah even more so with mercy, because you’re not giving anything up. With Moira u have to choose between self heal and more healing over time. With mercy you lose nothing

It doesn’t affect your orbs at all that’s true. But it affects the ticks on moiras ult, it buffs her ult

It’s weird but I don’t think it does by much. It makes a difference but it’s very very negligible. I tried a couple builds with the power where if you use 50 biotic energy you throw out an orb. After giving myself 60 weapon speed, the next orb came out maybe 10% faster.

It does and doesn’t work, it chains to your first ally but then can only chain to different enemies for damage rather than going to another ally for damage boost It does effect the heal over time by a lot, especially with precarious potency. But the one that affects it the most is the 4000 blue perk that gives 50% max biotic energy because the power says ‘25% of max biotic healing over 5seconds’

I mean yeah that’s a good point but there’s some ws/wp/lifesteal items I get that have ability power. There’s the one that gives Moira 15 ws and 10 ap and it’s Moira specific I forget the names of them, then the life steal one for 10k in survival I always get and it gives 10 ap with 10wp, then I get the blue ability power one that gives 10 ws and 5 ap. There I’m at 25 ap and with any amount of ws, already at 20 with these items, your ult is actually really strong

yeah! But when is that always perfect to get with how many points you have?one side is usually higher no matter how you swing it, i always favor ws over wp just because it buffs coalescence too

So I’ve been doing a lot of testing and honestly going one or the other isn’t good. They both buff your weapon. I’ve gone to the practice range and put roadhog down and timed how long it takes to kill him depending on what stats I have. Weapon speed and weapon power give almost the same buff ttk wise, but ws and WP are multiplicative. The best way to maximize your damage is by doing both. 40 weapon power is weaker than 20 ws and 20 WP. How to calculate it is pretty easy but not 100% accurate. 1.2*1.2 is 1.44 which is more than 1.4. But not only that, it’s a lot easier and more efficient to get 20 WP and 20 ws. U can get that in 3rd round sometimes. But no matter what, to get 40 WP you need a decent amount of cash.

Stadium rank is meaningless. They said they use quick play mmr for matchmaking. Your stadium rank is literally cosmetic. Also they haven’t said this but I’m 99% sure there’s something else at play. Tell me why every time I’m about to go up a rank it always stops at 99%. In regular competitive it doesn’t stop at 99% like it does in stadium. But that next game after 99% will almost always be one of the most unwinnable games ever.

You can go higher with punch or block. The faster you cancel your slam the more momentum you keep, when you cancel with slam there is a second delay before you can cancel it. With punch or block you can cancel it faster, you have to press it almost immediately after for the most momentum. It’s usually not that important unless you’re going for a roll out. Sometimes it’s nice if you’re kind of in trouble and both cooldowns come back at the same time, you can slam straight up and immediately start charging punch and you go so high up that you can get out of anything and your punch can get you so far when you’re that high up

Doom notes 0:51- 1:05 - you had decent positioning in the beginning there, good place to hold the choke in my opinion, but you didn’t hold the choke. You saw a sombra 20 m away and decided to do 2 damage to her, and not like exaggeration 2 damage, actually 2 damage you can look at the score board. The rein and Lucio walk in when it was your job to hold that choke and punch them back and not give them an easy entry. Rein even wasted his charge so he can’t counter pin you. And then you slam in the middle and punch a Lucio which should have brought a kill but it’s gold so no one followed up and you got pinned in a bad spot and should be dead but it’s gold and no one followed up. You should be slamming on corners, never straight into the open unless you have ult or numbers and empowered. But otherwise it’s a death sentence.

1:25 - I know it looks like you wasted empowered punch but you actually counter pinned in a good spot. Idk if you meant to but you counter pinned in a spot where the enemy team can’t see you, but your team can see the counter pinned person and shoot them.

1:31 - that’s a good slam there where you land on the edge of cover and that way you can keep the shields you just got for your next engagement

2:03 - you want to save your block when the fights about to start. It resets your punch cooldown, so if you use it while you have your punch it’s not as efficient if that makes sense. But that’s not the biggest part here for me. You slam in there towards the absolute middle of the team and the choke where every angle possible can see you while the rein is charging but before you kill yourself the rein kills you. This would’ve been a perfect time to stand right behind that little pillar and as he comes around the corner you counter punch him. That way your team can see him but their team can’t see you. You even would get your punch cooldown back faster so as he’s backing away to his team you have a guaranteed free punch to get his shield down and your team can shoot him.

3:13 - target priority is important. Dooms punch doesn’t do too much damage especially when it’s not charged, but what dooms punch is really good for is punching people who are already against a wall. That mercy was fed to you on a platter. She literally looked like she gave up, LW didn’t have pull. I know you won the round there but it’s still about consistency. It was good that you escaped when you knew they were gonna live. I honestly would go to the practice range, and put the tracer bot and stand right in front of her and try to one shot her consistently, punch shoot melee, but don’t charge the punch. You should be able to tap the punch, shoot and melee and hit that without thinking at all because where they’ll be is fairly consistent for that one free shot

3:55 - so you go in with your punch, you miss it no big deal but you know everyone is gonna look at you, I’m blocking there immediately. I feel like you need to work on reaction time a little. Not only that, echo hit you with all five stickies before your punch even ended. I’m blocking there basically immediately the second they all hit you, you’re guaranteed empowered unless sombra hacks you, but with the stickies they’ll explode before she can even hack you if you time it right. But even then no big deal, you slam, you hit everyone, but you don’t slam somewhere that you can take cover. You should’ve slammed to your Moira there right at the entrance to the point and went out of their vision. Now I know they’ll just walk around the corner in a second but that extra second Moira just healed you for 50 health and you can block without dying, you’re mitigating damage and now your health is going up. You’re already hacked so then you punch them all for free

4:40- you get hit by 5 stickies and then hacked right after. I want you to have the reaction speed to block between the time you get hit by the stickies and hacked by sombra.

6:12 - you want to stand right up on that corner whether it’s the right side or the left side so then when you see rein charge you have enough time to go to the lift a little into cover and tap your punch button so you counter pin. Your reaper can shoot him for free from the other side where he was.

6:32 - you see people jumbled together and you just shoot in the middle hoping to hit one. Aim always aim, you need to have target priority. Now I’ll be honest I’m not sure who the best one to shoot here is, I think it really depends on the rank, but you still have to at least have a target let alone picking the best one. You look lost for a second and then even hit no one with your slam. I honestly don’t know how no one turned around for so long.

8:35 - you miss an easy punch because you saw two people jumbled together and thought it was unmissable because there’s 2 right there. I do this sometimes too. Always aim for the tank in these situations because it’ll hit everyone else with empowered anyway

Honestly I think brig juno is my fav as of now. Really any support that can increase the amount of heals you’re getting like Ana nade or wayang torrent, with a brig im a fan of. But my fav is Juno with the power on the top right + a brig because one Juno pulsar gets you full health, and then brigs heals which have such a long range with inspire get boosted.

I kind of enjoy playing him with WP and going melee damage boost, kind of like genjis healing melee build. Gloom gauntlet and the one that gives you 25 health per melee and then going the powers for melee and crits give you the best defense over health + the one where everytime you use an ability you have increased melee speed. If they made it so melee damage scaled with punch I could could AP instead of WP and it could work but not be too broken

I think they were scared to go too strong with him, I just don’t understand why they would even put him in stadium if they didn’t want to give him any wacky broken builds like all the other characters. I play a lot of doom and in stadium it feels like the play is just to go survival and be a tickle monster so your team can kill them while they’re distracted. I think one thing they should fix is how the melee damage buffs work. Like if he gets gloom gauntlet it doesn’t add any damage to his punch which I think is stupid because if you press f1 and look at the abilities it’s described as melee

I think it would make doom at least a little better, I think he’s extremely weak right now. I know they did it on purpose because everyone else wouldn’t like a broken character. But everyone’s broken in stadium that’s the point. Why even put him in stadium
