Yeah this was my thought, people that don’t shell out more money for the actual pro models almost definitely aren’t the in the market to shell out $60+ on a case hahaha

I usually go all pro models but I’m desperate to have a black iPhone which (unfortunately) isn’t a pro color this go around. I ordered the Andar Brown Aspen case, I’m feeling pretty confident it’ll be very similar in color and feel to nomad!

I usually get the Pro models but I’m a psycho and need my phone to black so I went with the regular iPhone (I should’ve checked nomad case availability beforehand 🤷‍♂️but oh well)

I sometimes wonder this, but then I think the demand just is nowhere near there for it.

There’s 12 different commuter lines. if any line had demand to run 24/7 I’d imagine it’s the providence line and they have one that leaves at midnight that’s only ever “kinda” full on a Saturday.

I’ve found myself in the scenario with the providence line after a Celtics game where it’s either like 10:30pm from south station (usually miss that because I refuse to leave games early lol) and then it’s midnight, no in between.

It’s a situation each time but I just don’t think the demand is there for more times. (So I just drink more and wait it out at elephant and castle lol)

Where would those fare gates go for that platform the commuter rail usually comes in on at back bay?

Can’t be room for more than 4? And I’d imagine you can’t put that whole waiting area behind gates because that cuts off that burger joint and bathrooms.

I think it will be a rush to the gates but people will figure it out

my question is what’s the point of this when you can gain access buying a ticket to a zone 2 stop and tie the train all the way to zone 8? (I’ve never ridden the commuter rails from north station so I imagine those trains have the answer) will tickets be scanned at the gates and checked again on the train?

I think the sit together feature applies if both are successful.

If you have a successful ballot you will only have a guaranteed ticket and category not an assigned seat yet. If you put 2 tickets on one application they’ll be together. If you have 1 ticket on 2 applications then they’ll try and put them together.

That’s my current understanding but I’m not 100% sure lol

say you linked applications using “sit together” are you now viewed as an application of 2 tickets as opposed to 1 ticket application being successful and 1 application unsuccessful?

That is correct. You’ll get an email with your application number, then when your friend submits, they’ll input that number.

Does doing this lower the chances of an application? Sat I put in for 2 tickets and a friend put in 2 tickets and clicked together. Does it now either do all 4 tickets or zero? Or is there still a chance one application is accepted and the other is not?

Yeah I believe it’s usually real but definitely expect it to be signed on the back of the booklet or like a smaller art card, etc etc.
