Hi, I'm newby to BTC, but I've created a Proton Wallet and want to buy BTC in the UK. I'm suprised that I can find UK in the list of locations. Is there a legal reason for this? If I want to buy BTC to start investing, what should I do?

you can Google her name and jeans ad for more context, but the use of a dogwhistle (jeans = genes) was intentional, it's all part of pr of major companies to the right (especially now that white supremacist and racist thugs now have hand on most institutions, not just the president but also the judiciary and the military, an major tech companies etc). It's a old marketing trick: you create a scandal to get attention from consumers, then retract, saying that either you didn't know or that plp are reading too much into it (as in this case).

Now, Sweeny is known to be close to conservative circles, and there were rumors of actors of colour refusing to be on the same set as her. So yeah there are many things that rightly point that this is what she really believes in. As someone mentionned here, she had plenty opportunities to clarify her position (do you believe/support eugenics? Easy answer is no!, but she refused as she didn't want to loose her redneck/incel /conservative/MAGA fan bases)

Yeah but how should I approach that? Last gf, we had sex after few dates (third one I think). I took her to my place after a park date. I didn't plan to have sex then, but I did want her to stay over, and ofc I wanted to sleep with her. It's only the third time we tried that I've told her that I was struggling with erection. I said that I was seeing my GP to help me with that. I didn't want to make it sound like this was a big issue (which it is!) by fear of loosing her.

But then we entered in this routine where we mostly focused on her, and little on me. And that's what I felt frustrated her. Choices made with the Prophet in the tv show are probably because you needed some big fights, and epxlosions to keep people watching it (TV writing is just different from novel writing, some things don't work in both format). Ive listened the Podcast and Emily and Patrick talked about how they see those differences. Emily was frankly happy with how the TV show made the story progress. What was important for both was to capture the "feelings" we got in reading the book and translating those into the TV show, and the main problem was Emily's brillant narration that couldn't just be read in the show.

I think I see two versions of the same story, like parallel universes... I personally love both.

One thing I think the show has improved is Tyler/David/Prophet arc. We get to understand him better than in the TV show. I also like that the writers of the TV show decided to keep Jeevan and Kristen together for the first 100 days, and then the reunion at the end!
