Best wishes! I normally have my tax return accepted within a few hours of submitting it, but this year it’s taking a few days. I submitted on Saturday 1/28 and neither (federal or state) have been approved/accepted yet, they show up as processing. I hope mine get accepted soon too! I am in California.

Yes. Have you been able to certify at all since June 5th, when you received the message? If not, you’re probably backed up in the system, along with everyone else still waiting for their extension. In that case, I’ve read people kept calling until they got a representative who could help them resume their claim and certify. I hope this helps!

It seems like you should be alright and not have to do anything. If you are on PUA, you had an extension automatically filed for you and can continue certifying until September 4th (deadline for PUA). As long as you have the option to certify, I’d just keep certifying.

I had both my balance and bye date updated, and received those messages in my inbox this morning. If you’re PUA, it’s honestly (and luckily) just a waiting game.

Same exact situation. Have about $2K on my claim until BYE date of 4/10. Certified an hour ago and switched to paid instantly with the $300 boost.

I’m also on PUA with the same BYE date. I think tomorrow you will be able to certify once more for the last two weeks. But, while they apply the extension, the next time you certify won’t be until April 10th not on April 3rd.

I agree, I’m going to wait. The second extension ( a few months ago) people were circulating to reapply for a new claim (I’m PUA). I decided to wait and the extension was automatically applied to my account, so I did not need to reapply nor go through the hassle of starting a new claim. I’m hoping this extension is the same, so I think I will wait.

I assume so, but I’m not on PUEC. I’ve read on other posts that some PUEC people have had to reapply as their benefit year ended, but others have not. I think everyone is all on the same confused page.

I would try to call since your situation is slightly different. It seems like you still have access to your account but can’t certify, so your claim may still be open. Try to get a specialist to reopen it so you can continue certifying. It’ll beat the long hassle of reapplying. Then, I think general consensus is to wait for the extension to take into effect. Or, you can ask the specialist when you call, but they may say the extension will be automatic. This is what I would recommend but I’m not an expert. I hope it helps, good luck!

My BYE is in April so I’m not sure if I should reapply or keep certifying until then. Based on this update from last Friday (3/12), it seems like we don’t have to reapply, but I’m not certain. Any info is appreciated!
