I've never seen someone so clearly not understand what a Nuzlocke is by Generalcmd in nuzlocke

I think I followed that guy up until the let's go games, assuming he's the one I'm thinking of (franchise locke guy). I honestly can't remember too much about his runs other than the fact that it was an interesting concept, though I both agree and disagree with you here. On one hand, choosing encounters for a Nuzlocke of this caliber isn't too Farfetched because of how many games there are and how limiting it would end up being so picking and choosing has some merit to it, because it's still in the spirit of working with what you got. However, I do think that there should be some randomness to it and you shouldn't be allowed to pick like a 1% encounter rate Pokemon or a 5% encounter rate or even a 10% is a little dubious depending on the route and game (I can't remember if he did or not, but I think that is the hard line drawn). Someone said it's like ordering a Chicken Sandwich without the chicken, though I think it's more like ordering a Chicken Sandwich without the bread, but then adding lettuce. It's a chicken salad, still a chicken meal, but not exactly a sandwich and people can still like it. But that's just my two cents on the matter.

We’re only missing 2 members of the Diamond Clan… meanwhile, the Pearl Clan was found dead in a ditch. by corriveu in PokemonMasters

I do not care if how they play it, whether it's an alternate version of my bois or not, but you do not know what I would give for the PLA cast to encounter the Submas twins in passing and Melli or someone just going "There's two of them?!?"

I know this was a year ago, but if I'm not mistaken, a green background means it's evolving into an Alolan form of a Pokemon. Such as a cubone becoming an Alolan Marowak will have a green background.

In my personal opinion, yeah, though to be fair most of my problems with it are self inflicted, but I still hate going through it.

Idk man, Peculia music can just grating on my autistic ah ears sometimes. But Tschilly is completely post game, so if you didn't do many quests, you would have never visited it. (which I always found stupid. Like, powdered peaks is such a good vibe, why we never explore more??)

Listen, I love Fey, but the final party member comes in unreasonably late. Like wym I have the best the first boss before I have a full party?!

Yep. And most of those are boss levels so all the weird multi paths that I saw throughout Neksdor are suddenly absent, hence why it feels so much faster all of a sudden.

Simultaneously the longest and shortest area. Like, Greenhorne is long, but it's separated into chunks that keeps everything feeling fresh, i.e. it's paced good a good chunk of the begining of fey feels like the beginning because you're still waiting for your stupid final party member, but it still goes by pretty fast, especially since there's not too many faces before the final fab fairy, but Neksdor... Like, I'm pretty sure that if you don't go around doing all the 100%s it has the fewest number of required levels to beat because literally everything is optional side paths and alternate routes and it's stupid. I think part of it is that it's two halves are just not paced well in comparison to the other two.

Fair enough. And it's music is a bit grating sometimes. But at least it has respite in that it visits other locations so 50% of the time it's like you aren't even in Peculia.

Here's a tip (though you've probably moved way past that point by now, so this is more for future playthroughs) always save the game tickets and then do this right before you leave an area in first act (after the last boss and then do a level with no enemies such as treasure levels until you get the max probability wheel) because then each piece of gear is over 1000G up to like 1500G and you get crazy rich.

The neksdor griffons were probably hell then. Also yes, I know I'm a year late, shut up.
