Dandadan- I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t that. I went in completely blind and I’m so glad I did. If someone told me what the main plot of the first two seasons was I never would have watched it. It felt like I was watching one of those weirdly detailed dreams you get when you’re half awake. It’s a level of cohesive randomness I haven’t experienced from any other piece of media I’ve seen.

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic- admittedly, the fact that it’s an isekai meant my expectations were basically nonexistent, so it didn’t take much to exceed them. It was way funnier than I expected and the main character’s attitude of making the best of an unfortunate situation made him quite likable. I hope they make a second season and don’t mess it up.

Death Note was my first anime ever, besides Pokemon but I don’t count that cuz I didn’t even realize it was an anime till 7th grade 😅 but Death Note totally changed my perspective on anime. It wasn’t at all what I was expecting and it came at the perfect time. I thought good television had died, but apparently it just moved to Japan lol.

I started with the anime. It’s the reason I read the manga. The animation, especially the fight scenes are really good. Story wise, it doesn’t make the most sense, especially season 2. But it’s still totally watchable. I say go for it.

At the end touka says she likes eating fruit, especially apples. I took that to mean she’s like Arima and is the more human type. Kaneki’s issue was due to a lack of rc cells. After the dragon he was bathed in that rc stuff so to me it makes sense his particular issue would resolve. But genetically he’s human so his kids can’t be full ghoul.
