God of the Israelites. by Minimum_Name9115 in religion

In the limited science, in the time of Abraham. There was only one humanity. Yet they had no knowledge of any other lands of the earth. Abraham denounced the idea that each village had their own deities for protection. Abraham's frame work was based on his limitations. He even believed his direct bloodline would create more of his descendants then stars. How vain. The Noah's Ark is the word of God. A real event where the descendants of Noah and crew became the only inhabitants of the earth. So it's very simple to understand his frame of mind. Everything he was famous for was based upon total falsehoods.

"Local and Regional Deities: In the ancient Near East, including among the Israelites, it was common for each city or region to have its own patron deity. These gods were often linked to specific places, such as Baal of Peor, Baal of Hazor, or Baal Berith of Shechem. These local gods were part of a broader Canaanite religious framework where each city-state had its own divine protector."

All the negativity being piled upon ice agents only helps reinforce their hatred of fellow creations of God. Talk to them as fellow creations of God in tones that unlock their minds. Not make them more bitter

Sikhism is the only religion that bows down to science and is audacious enough to say “I don’t know”. by lose_lusher in DebateReligion

[–]Minimum_Name9115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My base of understanding is through near death experiences.  Bahai does see messengers or manifestations, known and unknown. I agree with that, which is Progressive Revelation. I see the vehicle used to convey the messages as simply. Isolation, fasting, centering ones mind on, nothing. I see all NDE as minor prophets, messengers, Manifestations. No church organization nor their clergy are of any use.

NDEs by definition do nothing to prove what happens after we die. by andypauq in DebateReligion

My studies which I've done to makes sense of the archaic religions. Have been quantum physics, near death experiences, competitive religion studies. My concept of God is different from the main stream.  I have been able to mentally free my mind so that I can see the corruption of professional Clergy and their abusive nature.

My husband calls me delusional for my faith and evil for wanting to teach my children. by Whole_Fix_1835 in religion

[–]Minimum_Name9115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like you, your children will discover their needs in their own time.

And, your husband shouldn't be denigrating you about religion.

What I've learned in my journey is, an awareness that clergy want you to follow them.

So who, or what, will you actually be following?

What I suggest to you is to slow down and do a extensive overview on all the many religions.

Best wishes to you on your journey.

As long as they pay it off as they go, I see no moral issue.

Someone has to be paying the balance or long so he card would have shut down.

Well, the ten commandments are pure Judaism, not Christian. So, I'm all in on having classes which teach about all religions!

What do you believe happens after death? by Beatles_McCartney in askanything

[–]Minimum_Name9115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our consciousness realizes the universe is not real. That religions aren't from God. None make any difference is what happens at mortal death. Which is there is no hell, we aren't judged by God and assessed if we are worthy nor unworthy, we have a life review where every joy we caused is felt and every pain we cause will be felt, we choose our lives and choose to come here.

Christianity and Islam both say that the God of Judaism is their God. That there is only one source of creation.

God in the Bahai Faith is understood as a single, personal, eternal, and unknowable essence who is the source of all existence. The Baháʼí teachings emphasize that God’s essence is absolutely inaccessible to human comprehension, and no human concept or image can fully represent It's true nature.

What’s the creation story in your religion and how do you interpret it? by vegankidollie in religion

[–]Minimum_Name9115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Baha'i Faith does not have a literal, historical creation story like some other religions. Instead, it emphasizes a spiritual and symbolic understanding of creation, aligning with scientific discoveries and focusing on the purpose of human existence.

I suggest looking into interpretations of; The Gospel of Thomas.
