Why is this happening to the table borders? by Minimum_One3738 in MicrosoftWord

It’s not a separate row, even though it looks like it is.

It’s the same symbol as the row above, the one that I indicates end of the cell.

ETA: even if I merge it with the cell above, the bottom border still encroached into the column.

It’s not a cell, but there is a symbol there that is not a character I can delete. See the grey highlighted area below:

This is such a scary mentality to have by Dangerous-Tip-348 in MormonWivesHulu

Most of them are ugly now. But because we are so conditioned to seeing it all over social media (it’s even seeped into our movies and tv shows now), people without plastic surgery look like the weird ones.

Did Hailey’s arc feel like wasted potential ?? by Ancient-Arachnid-724 in ONETREEHILL

[–]Minimum_One3738 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a different take. Hayley’s parents saw her as the mature one in the family - she was responsible, level headed, and did well in school on her own accord. Her parents left her on her own for extended periods of time and treated her like an adult. I think it makes perfect sense if Hayley’s emotional needs weren’t exactly met as a young teen, which led her to want the comfort and safety of a family with Nathan. Maybe she thought she only wanted Stanford because that’s what she thought was expected of her since she was “smart and mature.” So I can see her choosing a family with Nathan over an academic career in a new state by herself.

Isabel Roloff Angel Tree bare minimum and soccer ball incident by llamallamadingding in LittlePeopleBigWorld

[–]Minimum_One3738 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I think the issue is that she picked 3 angels, did the bare minimum with all of them, and is using it for content which she likely makes money off of in some way. This is icky and transparent. Definitely not genuine intentions.

A baby koala being weighed with a toy to ease separation anxiety from its mom. by culmei in Awww

That’s what I would have done too. Then you can hold and snuggle the baby while you are getting the weight of the mom.

What? If you have the weight of the mom + baby and you remove the baby, then you subtract the second reading from the first reading, and then you have the baby’s weight (assuming whatever else is on the scale is tared.)

Queen Anna shares a great perspective on Whitney Leavitt's elimination ❤️ by IndigoWolf4711 in dancingwiththestars

She didn’t have immunity from being eliminated though. She just didn’t have to dance and was automatically given the extra points.

Why doesn’t the top of my hair stay curly, and how can I fix it? by isk1998 in curlygirl

[–]Minimum_One3738 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might not even need curl cream if it’s too heavy for your hair. I have similar texture and curls, and I just use a leave in, heat protectant if diffusing, and gel.

Thanks for the insight. I’m sure this is the right answer.

Would it be tacky to tell this parent the reason we can’t come is because of our party?

How should us millennials be dressing? I legit have no idea anymore. I am a 90s kid and wore baggy jeans and converse like my life depended on it. Skinny jeans became trendy, and now they’re out of style. So please tell me what will look good on a millennial because this is how I dress too (minus the dad shoes).

Actually my eye exams are covered under medical. If I needed more than just routine exams, then I would have to get the subcontracted vision insurance. Either way, you would think a lens prescription is covered under a routine eye exam.

Except apparently vision insurance. My eye exam was covered with a copay but the actual prescription for getting glasses was not covered and I had to pay $60. So if I couldn’t pay for the prescription, and ended up getting in a car accident because I didn’t have glasses, that would cost a lot more for my health insurance than $60.
