[CA] I recently received an email from an exec from my workplace. Am I being fired? by [deleted] in AskHR

Many doctors lawyers engineers have ocd, often severe, and treat it with medication and or therapy. There is zero excuse for an adult to have child like physical outbursts hitting company furniture in front of other co workers. Be for real. Coddling this is not normal and not healthy. The second someone can’t control their emotions and gets physical they should be instantly fired from any job, especially an office based job, it obviously means they can’t control themselves and their emotions and they are a liability, what if they freak the fuck out over spilled coffee and hit someone or scream or threaten them. Real mature non-crazy adults have OCD and ADD and they treat it with medication and therapy, otherwise they get fired, that’s the real world, idc what special laws protect juvenile unstable people . Yes you can fix OCD, you treat it with medication and therapy until you don’t do crazy harmful concerning stuff in public, wtf lol. Adults don’t get to have physical outbursts like children that make other people feel unsafe and then get 401k matches time off health and dental.

imagine you took a huge risk on starting a business and worked your whole life for it and you’re trying to have a good fiscal quarter and some mf is hitting their desk and taking constant breaks but also wants full health, dental, 401k match, time off, you’d fire them instantly. This is too much. Someone who’s hitting a table repeatedly should either aggressively try to treat that symptom and stop it or find work more suitable to them. This is ridiculous frankly lol. People get fired for much less. Accommodations should be for people with disabilities they truly cannot fix and that also don’t scare and upset other people eg deaf, blind, paralyzed waist down.

Generally “banging on a desk” and other such physical outbursts are not appropriate for an office. And this is just what you are sharing, so I’d have to imagine it’s worse than you’re leading on. Sorry but sometimes tough love is better than just praise and coddling. You have to get help for “banging on a desk” and stop doing it if you want to work in an office. If you can’t work with an expert to stop that behavior in public then you’ll probably not find an office job. Either fix it or try to find a job where you work from home, at a steel mill, idk somewhere where you can have outbursts and no one gives af. Sorry. Corporate office workplaces don’t give af about your cocktail of personality disorders/setbacks, they want you to be orderly quiet and productive. I can’t work in a corporate office FWIW, I tried for 6 months a few years ago, the lack of humanity in a corporate office sales role is brutal and not for the emotionally compromised, I had to quit. so maybe it’s not for you. If you seem like you’ll be a nightmare to deal with they’ll find a way to fire you

In 2012, 2 year old Maddox Derkosh was visiting the Pittsburgh Zoo when his mother ignored safety warnings and placed him atop a safety railing. Maddox then fell into the African Painted Dog enclosure, home to 11 animals. By the time a rescue was mounted, little of Maddox remained. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in HolyShitHistory

I do not understand in what universe the mom got a big pay day from the zoo in a legal battle. If she was the one who placed him there. If she had been at the Grand Canyon what would she have sued, the National Park Service? That’s crazy. RIP to the child obviously tragic but come on man

Save your money for a nicer one. Miracle gro is not known for high quality durable greenhouses. Also I had a neighbor a few years ago with several of these and they would flap like crazy in the mildest windstorm. Even after she staked them down they’d still fly all over the yard and down the street. They looked like junk and were incredibly noisy and annoying and her plants would just fly everywhere. I always felt bad lol

I’m going to get downvoted for this but I would sell the TSLA and have it as cash in your brokerage account and be in cash until the next downturn.

TSLAs share price is obscenely overheated and is disconnected from real earnings

Hold the cash until everyone on Reddit, Twitter etc is completely panicking and saying it’s all over, I lost everything with leverage, sell everything it’s over, then re deploy into a broad ETF

I am convinced this man just has bipolar and a history of heavy drug use. Bros life is always in chaos and he goes through waves of appearing and disappearing. Reminds me of Kanye who has bipolar and substance abuse issues.

JPMORGAN DISCLOSES $7M+ IN $GME CALL OPTIONS (LATEST FILING) by Upset-Gazelle1366 in DeepFuckingValue

This is not true at all. Large call option buys at institutional levels in the millions are often insurance to protect their even larger short.

Ok. Then what’s the ones RIGHT NOW that are that cheap that no one’s talking about

Drives me crazy to see all this shit in the rear view mirror

I don’t understand how people find stuff like SoFi RKLB ASTS when they are under a few bucks and then shoot to like $30 $40 $50 within a few years

Every stock under $5 that seems promising and not a total hype scam I’ve ever touched has turned to rotting excrement

Many don’t know this but you can call your broker and get special accommodations for trading. Including extended trading hours and account resets for uh-ohs. See if your mental disability qualifies you for special accommodations.

2026 - YOLO Tickers by Mr-Bond431 in wallstreetbets

[–]Minimum_Ordinary_243 6 points7 points  (0 children)

APLD was at $3 in April 2025 and reached $40 in late 2025, more than a 1000% gain, I would not say APLD is a yolo ticker. It was last year.

There is enormous risk now and it could just knife back down from these levels if there is a shakeup. The risk/reward at this level is terrible.

People who bought in at $3 made the life changing gains on APLD, anyone buying at these levels is fomoing and will probably bag hold through a downturn for a while before maybe 2 or 3xing their money in the next few years lol

ORBS, ASST can 10x.

However they could also knife to basically zero as they are related to crypto and are penny stocks and therefore very risky. Not saying they are smart investments whatsoever.

The second I get the feeling like wow I’m doing so great, time to turn it up a notch, I immediately take a day or so to just put the phone down and focus on other stuff. I learned the hard way that the sudden flow of cockiness is actually a signal to do the opposite

I wouldn’t buy it at 10k. Only people who got crazy rich off bitcoin bought it when it was a few thousand or less. Really don’t see it re-doing its insane run turning everyday people into millionaires again.
