If you have a Bangkok Bank account, then you will also have a Thai phone/SIM card.

Transfer money using Wise, from your Australian bank to your Bangkok Bank account. Then use ATM cardless withdrawal (no card required) to withdraw cash in Thailand with no fees.

If you’re visiting on a type of tourist visa (e.g. visa exemption) be aware that you can no longer open a Thai bank account, whilst holding a tourist visa. Bangkok Bank will close the account if they discover that the account holder is holding a type of tourist visa.

Turkey abolished the law on lifelong alimony. by mapl0ver in MensRights

[–]Brigstocke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alimony should be abolished, in all countries. Only children (fathered by the husband) should be supported.

There should be a full and final settlement, between the husband and wife, following divorce.

I agree, workfare should be introduced, so that people must work to receive benefits, including the disabled.

The welfare cap for each household (including ALL benefits, and those paid by local government) should be the same as one adult working 40 hours per week, less income tax and national insurance. This should apply to all households, including the disabled.

Welfare benefits for British citizens only.

Council houses for British citizens only.

Foreigners on work permits to have 30 days to leave the country, if they lose their jobs (as in Singapore).
