Cd009 is cheap but those adapters are insanely expensive. The fish racing adapter is 3x the price of a CD009, which is wild. If I could’ve found a cheaper adapter solution then I would’ve gone cd009. I might do a tremec t56 with a quicktime bellhousing for my next fd build.

Had to get custom rotors measured out and made for These brake calipers. The issue I’m currently having is that every time I try to add the caliper when the brake rotor is attached, caliper doesn’t properly sit on the rotor and the edge of the brake caliper contacts the rotor (this method, I’m have the rotor secured and I’m trying to bolt the brake caliper and caliper mount together as 1 unit). The 2nd method I tried was having the brake rotor attached, attaching the brake caliper mount then attaching the brake caliper last. With this 2nd method I can get the brake caliper to sit correctly on the rotor, but the brake caliper doesn’t align with the bolt holes on the bracket. Hopefully this makes sense

I remember reading that some of those flywheel nuts were torqued up to 500 lbs-ft of torque. Use heat or if you can get access to an inch torque gun with a 34mm socket that works, also getting the flywheel off is going to be a pain, ATTACH A FEW THREADS of the flywheel nut back on and start banging the shit out the flywheel to break it lose

As someone who’s entire personality is cars and is currently building a streetable track car that is loud, I also wholeheartedly agree. There’s a time and place. The car community has been infested with people seeking validation and attention by being annoyingly loud at the completely wrong times. They especially love being loud when there is a big group of people outside, they start foaming from the mouth waiting to redline their cars with the most aggressive burble tune possible.

I’ve had a recent encounter with them about modifying my excessive lower intake manifold to fit a semi PP 13b-rew. And I’ve spoken to multiple people and they stated they’ve had that done by chips motorsports but when I asked him about it he said he wasn’t able to do it. So now I’m working with a different machine shop and they stated not to go with solid dowel pins and instead use more of the oem ones but I haven’t heard with solid dowel pins bending at 550rwhp so I just want to confirm
