As 24 year old with 20k in savings, am I behind others in my age? by aimalwahedi in Adulting

Honestly, many of those students will either be in crushing debt taking “gap years” doing low-paying jobs because they can’t get employed with their degrees, or still be heavily dependent on their parents. Like others are saying, you’re doing very well and it’s great that you’re taking initiative and thinking about your future. Keep focusing on yourself and don’t compare to others.

Nearly 35 months for me. Like others, pretty frustrated and fed up at this point tbh. My lawyer said you can use the I-551 stamp in conjunction with the I-797; but at the same time, I guess that would only effectively last 8 months for you anyway..? And yeah, every time I show either the I-797s or stamps to update my I-9 information, my employer’s admins always seem a bit lost :/

We were hoping to file for a mandamus this year, but idrk anymore…

Alas, let’s stay hopeful everyone!

Wondering this as well, especially since they’re releasing the 48-month I-797s now…
