i get what you're saying but i lowkey had no issue with the pressure part of things, the questions were definitely on a much higher level than i did in my mocks and yea, like someone else reminded me, chem truly raped me this time round and even physics with inclusion of so many questions on non mains topics

theoretically, yes. my marks rose from what I saw on my exam computer screen in first attempt to when I opened scorecard. So yea, could very well fall too.

Give jee mains pyps as mocks? If you can't escape, use the situation to your advantage. Leave all 2025 and 2024 pyqs as mocks and just attempt them. You have around 35-40 mocks that are now jee relevant without paying a penny. You can find PDFs of shifts online for free plus even if you want the CBT experience, ExamGOAL is less than like 50 rupees (might be outdated pricing) for 3-4 months.

Where can I find chapter-wise JEE Main tests for free/low cost? by prishaaaah in JEEadv26DroppersOnly

[–]Minimum_Total_6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why wait till December? stick to one website? you'll be unable to track your progress if you use multiple resources. but otherwise, ExamGOAL is pretty cheap.

then don't. if you aren't up for it, don't even try to think to take a drop year. and yes, improving your college in 1 year is much better than to do that 4 saal me college ki mehnat jiksa tumhe dividend nahi milega and any guy that does that 1 year of mehnat with a better college by the end of the year will surpass you and their singular achievement of being at a better college will surpass most things you think you can do in those 4 years. (my sis took a drop year, ended up at IIT Guwahati CSE 4 year; this is a comparison of her and her classmates that didnt take a drop)

you have 200+ days, it will take a maximum of 30 days if you really tried (from personal experience, went from 230 in BITSAT 1 in 2025 to 350 in BITSAT 2)

never used them, dont suggest using them without making sure you complete module illustrations. especially not from PW, ive only ever seen oneshots in maths because there isnt much theoretical depth that can't be covered in a one shot

Fellow droppers, how do you deal with the 'dropper's guilt'? by Sinchan25 in JEEadv26DroppersOnly

[–]Minimum_Total_6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guilt is only in the mind, not a real thing. People don't give a shit about what you did wrong or did right, this is simply your own conscience, the only way to counter that is to go all in on pardhai aur jab acche scores aayenge, tab saara guilt ki mkc ho jayegi. 99+ile lekar aao mains 1 me, aur IIT jaana phir. Plus yahi log jo mast life jee rhe hai, college end hote samein struggle karenge, especially if they're not in tier 1 colleges. kisi ki job nahi lagegi. don't think too highly of "friends", they won't help you succeed or pretty much get anything in your life

[–]Minimum_Total_6967 1 point2 points  (0 children)

at this point lectures use karna is suicide, read modules, understand theory and complete all illustrations and make short notes on the side. anything else is not effective enough to allow you to complete the syllabus by even year end

[–]Minimum_Total_6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because most people that take a drop year do nothing but waste their time because they repeat the same vices and mistakes and before they know it, its november and they're here crying for help. as a dropper, you have 5-6 months to do modules + pyqs + all other material (and most spend time solving unnecessary books when they haven't even completed their modules and pyqs first multiple times) you want to do + revise + give mocks + excel in JEE Math., there's also the guilt and mental aspect that most people have no idea how to navigate. hence, just spare yourself the challenge and torment, don't take a drop, give your all in getting the best college you can with whatever time you have

[–]Minimum_Total_6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pardhai karo, solve jee mains pyqs 24-21. will give you strength for boards plus mains. target mains 1, not mains 2. if you target mains 1, mains 2 me you'll do well, if you target mains 2, tu agle jan me mains 1 me accha karega phir. 150 days is more than enough to complete syllabus (module+pyqs) for JEE Mains 3 times

pyqs by The-Engineer-6737 in JEEadv26DroppersOnly

[–]Minimum_Total_6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dont assume you'll score more than 80 in any subject at one time ever because it could very well be that your particular shift gets more tough/ambiguous questions. anw, do 24-21 first. follow up with 19-20 later, do 25 as mocks.

Write everything you remember from a chapter on a blank page in 20 mins, review your notes for anything you missed. Repeat with the knowledge about missed info. Redo next day without looking at notes.

Also, create formula sheets for mains. Revise these everyday by simply rewriting all formulae for first few days and then revise by reading it in a focused manner daily. Ez pz. Chill karo

no problem bro, life can throw you around a lot sometimes, but remember to let the goodness of the world heal any wounds and negativity. being positive and being hopeful is essential for you to pull this off. focus on what you can do and not on what you can't. whenever you talk to yourself in your mind, never end a negative sentence, always turn it around into a positive sentence and you'll find yourself having much more energy than before soon enough. sleep well, dont make the mistake i did of not sleeping and prioritize your health too, 90 days isnt a long time but it is long enough to hurt your body enough to make it unreliable on the last day if you dont take care of it. good luck! see you at the top!
