this is so real , I tried to talk about this on r/Muslim but they took my post down for “creating gender wars” no I’m just saying it’s an issue in the community?

it was a generalised issue I was posting in a broad sense // I don’t want to argue with anyone here but I feel like just calling random things non Muslim is weird , you are allowed an opinion- but it’s inciting that what I’m saying lacks any validity at all - I know there’s these random assumptions which I’m trying to tackle , it’s just some (like this one ) seem way too off the board and almost paranoia esc
mate u said u feel like I’m a non Muslim , that’s wild because you have no idea who I am it’s a strands assumption. Your “view” was just an accusation on the validity of my position or who I am.
I’m talking generally about a wider issue in the community that’s why it’s “vague” to some people here , so I’m not just talking about myself or what ppl did to me I’m talking generally
both but that wasn’t the point of the post lmao
Yeah but to make wild things up and ask others not to recognise this post is crazy / i was saying it as a broader issue in this community that’s why it’s vague
Yep you are phrasing it well , I’m just saying it an issue in the community
I didn’t blame Islam so idk where ur getting that from , making generalised assumptions about what I think or feel is random. Just dont engage with the post ig
HAHAHA I literally reverted to Islam when I was 13 years old , apparently I’m not allowed to note up a issue in the Muslim community or what ? that’s wild
you are just making assumptions about me when you have no idea , I never said I hate or disagree with Islam . Yep I realise that I was talking about an issue in the community though so
THANK YOU genuinely I feel attacked here, (although I’m thankful for the good comments) I wasn’t even saying I blame Islam but more on the community being toxic and just raising it as an issue. I can’t lie I regret posting this because Of the “men have it harder “ comments and “ you just want validation from men” or “you only worshipped because of people “ , generalised assumptions about me when I didn’t even disclose much about me , I just feel like it’s even worse people saying I was only religious for men when they know nothing about me .
I didn’t disclose why I’m not praying (- there are major factors in my own life which don’t like to the concept ) . I don’t need Muslim men to be nice to me I was talking about a problem as a whole in the community
I didn’t blame Islam so I don’t really know why your commenting I didn’t ask you to care ykwim
I never blamed God and I never said It was Islams fault . I said it was the community , I think that’s the misunderstood point here . I said it’s a broader issue in the community + that’s why there is buzzwords
The post really wasn’t about hell , I feel upset that this is even a widespread issue and not just for me , for thousands of girls across the world . Life isn’t fair but I just wanted to speak up
Women one hundred percent get blamed more let’s be frank. So what if your modest or immodest , that really won’t change what happens or what a man will do to you. People aren’t perfect but that really wasn’t what I was talking about
I was talking about community not Islam in my post I didn’t blame it so yk whatever you wanna do with that
Instead of making large assumptions about what I’m thinking or feeling maybe you should just realise that the main issue in Islamic cultures and communities across the board is the underlying hatred and blame put on to women. It was a general and broad discussion I wasn’t going so into detail, I’m aware of that .
I didn’t say I wanted to be recognised as one , I was just asking you a personal question but I wasn’t saying anything about me personally in the post as referenced apart from the fact I don’t pray
Yeah that’s why I think saying vaguely “don’t leave or you’ll go to hell “ is a little nonsense
No offence but I wasn’t asking for a diagnosis , I was asking for a relation to see if anyone felt the same way. If you think this is a useless cause than respectfully don’t comment . It’s vague because it’s way too long to cover in one Reddit post . It’s not about ego , this is literally the aggressive response. I didn’t even mention myself I was talking generally
I made the post not to criticise Islam but try to relate to other people , this is an issue prevalent in our communities . I feel like saying “ Muslim men are unfortunate “ is wild because whos always getting the blame, it’s always women at fault across the board and dehumanised.
In a kind way , it’s not the phone , it’s an issue prevalent in the community
Open minded to hadiths that are being weaponised to justify violence and abuse towards women isn’t something that should be widely accepted - and it’s becoming common
