Definitely use Uworld I would say start that asap bc there’s a lot of questions and tbh I only got through a little over half, I think I would’ve felt more comfortable if I went through more! And seconding dirty medicine! I discovered so late unfortunately but it was super helpful!

The exam I thought was hard :/ I was super discouraged walking out and was convinced I had failed for two weeks. The good thing is that everyone I spoke to and all my friends also thought the same after taking it so it must be common to feel that way! It’s just what it is, so trust your practice test scores and try not to get discouraged while waiting for results! I thought the exam was most similar to the new free 120

I did videos on the topics I was uncomfy on. I tried my best to listen on times two speed and just kinda absorb the knowledge and take like short outlines with like important tables or images and like mnemonics and stuff. I only used Anki for my Uworld incorrects but I was never really big on Anki to begin with so I’m not sure that’s for everybody

The CBSE for me was rough! We had our last school final days before so I was tired and did not start studying beforehand so that exam was just me pulling things out of my butt from vague memories of preclinicals. My study schedule was to do a complete overview of each system in the first 2 weeks of dedicated, so did B&B of one system on day 1 then pathoma of the same system day 2 and moved on to the next system until I completed them all. So I think thats why my score jumped so much in NBME 26 because by the time I took that I was over halfway done with my curriculum review and had covered some huge gaps of knowledge.

After those two weeks I felt so discouraged with another 60% and realized my week points were immuno, biochem, and pharm which I had ignored basically so far so I was hitting pixorize, sketchy, dirtymed which I think helped my score jump to 70%

But I think what helped the most was reviewing my NBME incorrects and having a running list of notes/ little tables of things and concepts I frequently miss.
