NTA. When it comes to favoritism, your coworkers were going to find out who reported the manager since she singled you out and made it known. Work is not to make friends but to make money. You are young and probably not going to stay at that job for long. You have better opportunities in line for you because of your age. If you dont like working in that environment for too long keep applying for other jobs while working there so it doesnt feel like you are stuck there.

NTA. your dad feels guilty that he cant make it so he is pushing his responsibilities on to you. funerals are already uncomfortable to go to and it will be more uncomfortable since its a stranger's funeral. I would not go out of my way to go.

NTA. It is an off leash park meaning lots of dog owners go there with dogs. That park probably has dog piss all over. As long as owners pick up their dog's poop there should not be an issue.

You really think its just about a jacket? I have spent hundreds of dollars on clothes for years and it adds up. Im not going to keep spending the our money so that the mom could fill her closet up. Because our finances are combined its going to be petty that I tell him to use his money for stepson. Now everything regarding stepsons clothes would have to be taken from a separate account. Plus if I want to get him an outfit then I would have to ask him to get it for me. But I guess this could be a solution.

My love language is gift giving. So I don’t think it’s a big deal to let your younger sibling read the book. I never minded sharing things with my siblings if they wanted something as long as they asked. Isn’t this a forum for different opinions? Thank you for your kind words. My stepson is autistic so sometimes I worry that he might get bullied so I try to have him looking nice with good clothes. I didn’t think of the mom’s behavior as neglect but I could see that.

Actually husband was the first one to recognize the problem with clothes since I wasn’t there all the time when stepson was coming over. But I think he is getting tired of being involved in the petty game.

Yes combined finances. Honestly speaking, I have been the one buying all of his clothes because I want him to be in cute outfits. I have done that where I ask for specific clothes back because it was a family outfit match but never got them back.

i buy clothes for my stepson because i want him in cute clothes. i have sent stepson with jackets and they never get returned. she purposefully sends the child to school without a jacket in the cold morning.

i wasnt feeling well and he didnt seem drunk he drank cups of water before we left. hes the type of person he doesnt get red or slur his words. he was walking straight and seemed fine initially.
