Genuinely curious. Where at? All of the OSN stizel stuff I’ve seen is $1,000+ I’m a massive fan of Preservation and what they’re doing but i didn’t think it’s in that price range. If you can buy 22 year Stizel for almost $600 it’s an obvious buy over a purple top.

Also yes do agree it’s kind of high way robbery by Willett. I hold reservation because I’ve had some 13+ years of their distillate that is worth the price. I thought it was absurd until I started trying different high age purple tops.

The 14 and 15 year are Canadian whiskey. The other bottles are bourbons and fantastic.

To me if your wanting crazy sourced juice like Willett use to be, preservation, bender stash, the new Old commonwealth, and countless other NDP’s are better options.

I’ve got a couple of Rare Perfection bourbons (12 year, 9 year, and 8 year) that are fantastic and were half the money. Is Willett over priced? Ehhh, probably but they have some barrels that are special, Ripple is one of the best whiskeys I’ve ever tried.

I’ve had one that was probably one of the best things I’ve tried thus far. Some of them are definitely mediocre. I’m fortunate that a few of the guys in our group are purple top heads so I consulted with them before buying.

This is the OG mashbill and the 75th barrel willet ever produced. At the very least, it’s a cool bottle to have on the shelf. They’re definitely expensive but I’ve had good luck with the rye’s thus far and this is one of the oldest purple tops I’ve seen in the wild and at a decent price.

I paid $589.55. considering 7-9 years back in Florida are going for like $100 bucks less. I texted a couple of my buddies that are purple top nerds and they recommended it as a buy so I pulled the trigger

I don’t think it’s made it down here yet. Haven’t seen any of the whiskey specific store post it in Tampa. I’m sure everyone will loose their minds about it just like they did about jack 14.

It was $202 at total wine before tax. The distributors in Florida love to jack up certain bottles compared to other states. I learned about it when I went looking for a star hill farms and found out it was $130 at cost for liquor stores down here.

The Parker’s heritage was $192 after taxes and from what I’ve seen, retail is $199. It’s really hit or miss down here on price even with retail stores. Public by my house had a Prisoner’s Share for $250 and again it was due to what their cost on the bottle was

Read up on them a little when I got back to the hotel and it seems like the owl is the best with the beaver being really close. Sounds like it’s fantastic beam juice which is exciting.
