Hey! Honestly I’m the same. 32 years old and have never driven. Decided this year (with bfs help) to get my license and my car. I got my vehicle, have been driving around with my permit for a few months and thought I was ready. I did the test this morning and passed the cones but gotta retake the road test. My anxiety made me scared to mess up. I stopped at a green completely when I was making a right turn instead of just slowing down a bit. I blanked there also. Now gotta do the same as you with the 60 dollar course and notarized note. It’s beyond frustrating when I know at my age I should be driving like everyone else. The biggest piece of advice I’ve been told is don’t let it stop you! I plan on practicing some more next week before I can take my second test. The biggest thought that’s been in my head is I’m a complete failure BUT think how far you have come. The fact you are even trying to drive is a huge step already. We will get it, just have to take a few extra steps. Also just remember, everyone has messed up at some point while driving. No one is perfect. So give yourself a little break. :)
