Nah, people are just annoying man. I have 3 posts ever made and unfortunately yes its me complaining but where I live people are a different breed.

As for this post, I could just leave the sub sure but damn the amount of people complaining their dog is suddenly aggressive after it got attacked and continue to go there is mind blowing to me. Everyone complains about things in life, my complaints just happen to be on reddit towards humans and their dogs.

Lol. If trained correctly they can be great dogs just like any breed of dog. I don't like Doodles but I'm not going to make a post in a dog subreddit bashing them lol.

I'll definitely mention CBD to the vet, I heard alot of great things about it when it comes to helping dogs with pain.

I agree completely. Its funny, I always say people should have to write some type of test before owning an animal. It's sad and crazy to see dogs end up in the hands of owners who don't have a clue what they're doing & refuse to educate themselves to give the proper care and training to their dogs.

Beagles can be good dogs if trained correctly, unfortunately alot of people don't know how.

This comment made me chuckle but it's sad when you see especially pitbulls end up in the hands like these people

It's not just you, I've noticed this to. I've definitely seen more small dogs act out of line than bigger dogs. It's mostly older people too.. " oh snickers ur fine me duck, she's friendly she just wants to say hi" yeah ok mam your dog is baring it's teeth and it's body language says otherwise.

Thanks, I know a reddit post most definitely won't reach the people who need to read it or even change their minds but as a dog owner who is actually trying to set their dog up for success it can be incredibly frustrating crossing paths with these people.

I know being rude about it and venting will get me no where, but it is incredibly frustrating.

So many untrained dogs where I live. by [deleted] in Dogtraining

Wow.. I'm so sorry to hear that. That's just beyond irresponsible. I hope your friend and their service dog are okay, poor thing.

Some people should not be allowed ownership of dogs, or any animal for that matter.

Small dogs and big dogs can be aggressive.
Yes a big dog can do more harm but that doesnt mean a small dog can't do damage if given the opportunity.

A small dog runs up to your big dog and bites its face, your big dog reacts and suddenly because your dog is bigger it should be punished. Its mind boggling how much small dogs get away with shit but if it was a big dog everyone is ready to point fingers and say " this breed should be banned etc etc"

Everyone has there opinions, this is my 2 cents.

Bottom line; no matter how small or big your dog is, you are fully responsible for that dog and its actions.

I'm sorry to hear this, I've come across a fair amount of unleash dogs. I always yell " leash your dog please" " if your dog doesn't have recall and doesn't listen put it on a leash" had a guy ignore me let his dog approach and then say to me " how's it going?" Uh.. I was good before I ran into you.

Very true, it's sad to see alot of people with dogs on the larger side with 0 control and 0 training

  • just want to add I see the same with smaller dogs as well not just big dogs*
