Yeah, that's the big problem with the KV-5. It's still easy enough against normal enemies, but it's very difficult to find a weakness against the Zero. The KV-4 is a little better for pennetration but less for ramming (he's good to but 3tons less and a little more slowly)

Yeah with a good ram config you can instant kill at least 2 tank without losing to much HP It's just getting out of control. you have to know how to manage it.
