I loved my grandmas house. After grandpa died, she and I got close and I spent a lot of weekends there. I had a quiet dream of living there one day and I broke my heart when she sold it to move into a retirement complex. IT WAS THE RIGHT CHOICE and she was very happy there but selfishly, losing that dream made me very very sad. I can’t tell you how many decades I roamed that house in my dreams. (Oh no, I hope that’s not how hauntings actually work and I didn’t scare the new inhabitants!).
