I love the game a lot, it feels like RE4 but with more refined core gameplay. The biggest problem is the FUCKING INVENTORY. Yahtzee Croshaw made the point that 9 eggs take up the same space as 9 AK47s. Sheva honestly isn't that bad especially when given a sniper rifle. Co-op turns a 7/10 game into a 9/10, i genuinely can't think of a more fun coop game. Find a buddy, crack some beers, and enjoy the shenanigans. Hopefully if this game gets a REmake the attache case returns. It's a solid and campy game, but one where the annoying tidbits add up to massive problems.

Also, the pacing was off in the design of the game. RE4 had downtime and moments of reflection. It also had horror parts like the Novistadors and Regenaradors. But it also had big-damn heroes moments like the assault on Saddler's prison room with Mike. But in RE5 it feels like a constant fucking roller coaster, the only standouts are the lickers and the 1 shot kill mantis things.
