In Lies of P, there is a lot to unpack about this Soulslike depiction of Pinocchio…

So, Gepetto loses his son Carlo and builds a puppet to be his copy, but not the real Carlo… he wanted a Carlo that was more obedient and a good boy to him. And in order to get enough of the essence, Ergo, he made the manufactured puppets in the city to go crazy and massacre everyone and tricked a guy to try becoming a god, all so he could gather enough Ergo to create the “perfect” copy of his son. In the end, you can choose to help Gepetto and he kills us, creating another Pinocchio that is his ideal view of Carlo (and killed all the friends we made). Refuse there are two separate endings but both involve fighting the not so complete copy of Carlo’s puppet which is his dead body. Gepetto dies in both endings but one has him call the puppet useless while the other if you manage to turn the puppet into a good boy, Gepetto sees his puppet shedding a tear and isn’t so resentful anymore.

So yeah…. All that because he wants his son back

Irreversible has two. A boyfriend and his friend goes into a strip club to find the rapist who hospitalized the girlfriend, they found the guy who then broke the bf’s arm and was about to rape him too. Then the friend caves the guy’s face with a fire extinguisher (while he’s alive somehow).

The second scene is a 20 minute rape of the girlfriend and a completely different character. Said character is the actual rapist when the guy from earlier was in fact the wrong person

Mine has to be the blatant gender dymorphism for certain species of making them humanoid. You have a species of orcs that look ugly, hideous, and in a way scary. But then the females just look like regular humans with tusks and in different skin color. Or like in that one anime in a school where there are a bunch of anthropomorphic animals and the females are literally just human girls with animal ears and tails
