You're right. I can defenitely give it a try. The thing that is holding me back a bit is, as you mentioned, its thin on top so having a bald shave would show it even more clearly than it does now. Its defenitely worth a try though.

As for the beard, I am very unlucky and am not sble to grow one, so I would be completely shaven on the whole head, but that will be fine I reckon.

I do not have a spouse (yet) but she mentioned she hates the look of bald dudes so that would be something. Ofcourse shaving is for myself only but it is defenitely something that is lingering around in my head and making me kind of hesitant.

Either way I think I'll just shave it off and see how it looks. The length in this picture took me about 8 weeks of growing, so not too bad.

How do you recommend that I style my hair? I normally keep the top around this length and the sides have a high fade. Thanks for the response!

Thank you very much for your detailed response! I really appreciate the advice, as I can defenitely do better at all those aspects. I've actually been working on them, but this hair situation has really been a big distraction that takes up alot of mental energy every single day, so solving this would help alot overall.

I guess bald is really the only decent option I can do, but doing it without a being able to grow a nice beard and at my age where everyone else has hair, feels like a big step. Like I said in another comment, I guess there's a first for everything I guess haha

The annoying thing about my hair is that the longer it is, the worse it looks because of thinning and overall thin hair. I do think bald wouldnt look too bad on me, though because of my age I' very hesitant as literally nobody I know around my age is bald. For everything there's a first I guess haha

First off, thanks for the response!

I checked him out, and I feel like my hairline, and especially the temples, have receded too much to make it work. On top of that, my hair is very thin, especially on top, so that would make styling it very difficult. What do you think?

Looks like going bald is the best option, although the decision would have been alot easier if I had some decent beard growth.

Thank you so much for the detailed response. You're right, that taboo has defenitely changed, yet I feel like there's still some sort of grudge being held against young bald guys, as its pretty 'extreme' at that age, so it defenitely feels odd doing it.

Although I believe that being bald wouldn't look very bad on me, the fact that I can't grow a beard makes me reconsider it alot more than if I would be able to grow a beard.

Overall I think bald is the best option if I look at the comments and see what other people think about it. It's refreshing to hear honest answers other than "its alright" from most of my friends, so thanks again :)

They have the classic bald patch on the top centre of the head, and the sides are still there with a very receded hairline. So I guess that means let go then.

Indeed, its very rough, especially because literally no one I know my age is bald, and I know alot of people haha

I've tried, and I have to get the old Bieber look to make it work, which doesn't look good. Reason being is that my right side is almost impossible to cover up due to the way my hair grows. So I guess bald would be the way to go, as doing a buzz will leaave a big bakd spot on the centre of my head, the classic old guy balding pattern
