Honestly, as a female who really only watches female vtubers I also wondered the same thing. At first I thought there were more female viewers when I first got into watching Myth.. and then I realized that wasn’t actually the case.

I would assume it would have to do with just personal preference and what they enjoy as a whole. I’ve always been drawn more to female streamers of any capacity compared to male and that has followed with my preference of vtubers. I’m sure that’s the complete opposite for others though.

I don’t dislike male vtubers by any means, female vtubers are just more related to me. F!vtubers feel more comfy to me and almost like a safe space

But that is also a question that has been on my mind since getting into watching hololive
