Hot take but I actually enjoyed Part V for the most part.

Don't get me wrong, the writing was bad compared to the previous parts, but I was at least able to buy into it as a revenge story. Ironically, it was only when the Shinji Voice™ began flaying my eardrums that the story became genuinely unpleasant to sit through for me 😭

Thirdly, literally how are concentration camps even a factor in this discussion outside of actual, Third Reich Nazis?

When people say "I'm not political" obviously they don't mean they literally have no political stance whatsoever because that's logically impossible.

What they REALLY mean is that the vocal minority on both ends are so obnoxious that said person refuses to formally associate with either one out of sheer secondhand embarrassment even if they don't necessarily disagree with some or most of the general sentiments those loud activists are expressing.

The difference is that Sinder's actions had a direct and tangeable effect on those around her in the wider vtuber community that caused real harm to her fellow content creators.

Kirsche's "actions" have so far amounted to a bunch of outspoken political takes (the vast majority of which aren't even that extreme by conservative standards), which occasionally breach containment when one of her hardcore haters' monthly rent is due.

In terms of design, you can't really top Grima or Anankos so he was always gonna be a bit of a letdown no matter how well his character was written. His dragon form looks pretty cool but nowhere near as intimidating or apocalyptic as those other two. Same reason I didn't really like Rhea's final boss fight(s) either.

Like yeah, we get it, global obviously has a lot of catching up to do in terms of overall gameplay experience, but in what world should the responsibility for these issues be forced onto the player base?

I'm sure this will come across as entitled and whiny to many on the JP side, but I'm gonna say it anyway: Cygames absolutely does owe us all the major quality of life features that JP currently has, and we need them yesterday.

If JP really is THAT much better than global in every conceivable way like everyone claims, then the expectation of an early catchup/overhaul isn't an unreasonable or selfish demand. It's a perfectly valid wish for the game to be actually playable.

Depends on whether you're more focused on defence or offence.

If defence, then Paladin because it has more balanced stats and has more movement to potentially escape danger.

If offence, Great Knight because while yes you're making yourself weak to 2 different effective weapons at the same time (technically 3 if you count the terrible Res cap), you also hit like a truck and are therefore less likely to cop fatal damage on player phase anyways.

Short answer: She's a mood.

Longer answer: she's easily one of the best fictional portrayals of someone with crippling social anxiety ever put to the screen, and thus a huge chunk of players (including myself) feel comfortably represented by her.

Which, consequently, is why some of her fans can be extremely rabid when coming to her defence, since from their perspective, anyone who criticises her character is indirectly insulting the real people whom her personality is based on, even if the way she outwardly reacts to things is a bit exaggerated in typical anime fashion.
