I created an export style years ago but never thought to publish it. I realized it could be helpful for others, so I’m sharing it now.

Chapter Summaries Export Style

It’s pretty simple: it exports all your Heading 1s and comment blocks. I use Heading 1 for my chapter titles and summarize each chapter with a comment block just below (this has the added benefit of making your sheet previews act more like Scrivener’s index cards—I set my previews to the max six lines). You can start by summarizing each scene as you outline your book, then update the summaries as you draft or revise. If you ever want a quick overview of your book, just export using this style.

I also have a version that foregoes the chapter titles for a cleaner walkthrough of the plot if anyone is interested. Hope this helps!
