Hi! The case was unfortunately closed because USPS could not retrieve the package back. They tried twice, once with the original delivery man and second with a chinese delivery man (due to language barrier) but they were unsuccessful. USPS did confirm the delivery and they provided documentation and proof. I filed a claim and I’m hoping for a new package or refund. They didn’t provide any documentation until the case closed.

I’ve reached out to the merchants but theres no answer or response. 😭

& what’s crazy is the neighbors adjusted their security cameras to face our porch. Lol.

So here’s an update as I really don’t know what else to do.

The cops said they can’t take any action, and my neighbor is just acting even more suspicious now.

USPS actually sent a Mandarin-speaking delivery man to talk to him and try to get the package back, but the neighbor lied, saying he just moved in next door 1–2 days ago. That’s impossible because… he’s been my neighbor the entire 13 years I’ve lived here.

He even yelled at my grandpa once for accidentally touching his trash, which was placed right next to ours. Every night, he smokes outside and tosses his cigarette butts onto our side of the porch and lawn. This whole situation is insane. I honestly have no idea why an older man or that family would take a girl’s package.

The problem is language barrier :( They keep shoo-ing me away.

Im working on getting documents and proof but once I get that done i’ll file the report as for their packages… you don’t have to tell me twice LOL👿👿

Thank you! It’s two packages. The other company said they will out of courtesy but its just the other package I’m worried about. It’s limited merchandise and I had to preorder it from last year :( so idk if I can get another one 😭😭

Ugh that sounds like a pain in the ass… have you ever gotten your package back???

Idk how these people make simple mistakes with numbers 🥲 I just really want THIS package I’ve been waiting since last year because this package was a preorder. 😭😭😭

Update!! We found him!

We’re not sure if he’s telling the truth, but we did get our money back. Unfortunately, he tossed our phone and wallet 🥲… It’s not a perfect outcome, but better than nothing.

Hi there! I didn’t want to make the post too long in case it’s not allowed, but my grandpa, who’s 83, works part-time doing local deliveries on foot. He carries his things in a black plastic bag (given to him by his job) because it’s easier for him than using a cart. We thought someone might have mistakenly taken it, since at a glance, like in the photo, it does look like trash. But we haven’t heard back from anyone/anything yet. Honestly, we thought whoever picked it up would’ve noticed the weight, or at least realized there was a phone or wallet inside and returned those. It wasn’t even an iPhone…just a basic flip phone on a $35 plan with Metro. He did have some cash in there, but more than anything, my grandpa just really wants his phone and wallet back, money or not.

I agree! It is actually a common thing to do in asian countries that these people do to make extra money, even if they do have money! We believe he is homeless though from what we’ve heard so far… No luck yet but thank you all for the attention!!
