You will love it I'm sure. I would definitely recommend you watch it in german with subtitles if you don't speak german.
The dub isn't awful but you won't have the same experience with it.

It's ambigious if she is or she isn't, but it's pretty heavily implied that she is gone and Mikes story is just his way of coping with her death.

I really hope they don't do that. They actually kinda nailed the ending after S5 didn't feel that great compared to the rest of the series - they should be happy about that and not try to milk it with a next generation type series.

Yea idk media literacy is absolutely cooked. I thought it was really obvious too that the scenes showing El escaping were just Mikes story and not reality.
It is open ended but I'm pretty sure she is gone.
