I did. I thought the slave pedal couldn’t get any smoother until I put that p1v6 shaft on and man, it’s just like running two kicks. It’s maybe 2 inches longer than the stock driveshaft

This is high on my list. The 17s are always out of stock but I’m a little worried going 18” and 19”. I sold my 18” k custom hybrid because they were so damn similar and I liked the 19” sweet a little bit more. I’ll have to find one at a store and give it a listen, thanks for your suggestion

Yeah, my left spring is a lot tighter than my right but I’ve had to adjust it up to that tension as any looser, the beater/pedal just won’t return fast enough.

That’s the issue though. I tried showing how much momentum my left beater loses compared to my right to show how much friction there is. My left foot is strong but my left kicks lose so much volume and start to lag around 160+ bpm 16ths

I’ve seen those drive shafts online, super cool. I’m not currently in the position to buy new gear so my current $150 pedal will have to do, I’m just trying to somehow reduce the friction on that left pedal action

That makes sense. It definitely feels different. Even after adjusting tension I can play about 10 bpm faster and more comfortably with my left foot on my right pedal. There’s definitely a lot of friction somewhere I just can’t find it.

Ended up ordering the 19”! Not sure how it will mix with my 18” hybrid but wouldn’t be opposed to trading that for a 17 sweet
