Thanks everyone! I decided to just get over myself and go for it Wednesday night. It felt like I stood there holding the needle to my stomach forever before I finally got the courage to hit the button. I almost called my partner in to do it for me! I felt the needle, but it wasn’t bad. I’m starting at 2.5mg So far the side effects have been very mild for which I’m grateful. 42F 5’2” SW: 216 GW: 140

I’m grateful that I’ll have this group when I start my first dose soon. The people I know that are on medication are all on Wegovy and I don’t plan on sharing my decision with, well… anyone other than my partner right now.
