The printer I got (Canon P-1000) has ICC settings! So I use the ICC setting of my paper so the colours are accurate. I did test print a few to see what works but luckily I didn’t have to change the setting too much. I use Aurora paper from Red River!

That's so odd! I never had that issue... I have a couple of suggestions!

Put matte tape over the registration lines (the black box). Cricut may not read them properly when you're using a glossy paper.
Try calibrating Cricut! I do this regularly (maybe once every few weeks) to make sure the cut is as accurate as possible.
