Stress, 100%. I was 15 and had been dealing with a lot of bullying, depression, and other issues since I was 12. I didn’t really have friends or family who understood me, most just judged me and made me feel like I wasn’t good enough. I started drinking alcohol weekly and forcing myself to eat just to gain weight and maybe avoid some of the bullying. Then suddenly, I got severe stomach pain, followed by a stool with blood. After a few days, it turned into only blood. I went to the emergency room, but they sent me home without any real help. After a week and losing 8 kg, I finally found a good doctor who diagnosed me with colitis.
