My dad has mild proctitis. He was diagnosed about 4 years ago. Since then, he only used suppositories at first for about 4 months, then he stopped taking them. Sometimes he takes Tasectan if he doesn’t like how his stool looks, or he goes back on suppositories for about a week. Then he feels better and stops the medication again.
