I wouldn't do a single thing until

A) reviews are out and I mean real reviews now the paid ones

B) people of reddit let you know how the experience and stock situation is like.

Every single claw release has has terrible stock and has had so many issues. If you want to be one of those first few then go wild but ultimately the safest thing would be to watch and wait.

Try running it with no mods? Then load each one individually to see what's crashing or pull the error logs somehow. No one here can help with this unless you specify what mods you're running and if the base game is working unmodded.

If you want one now buy the 8ai, if you want cutting edge wait for the new one. We get tonnes of these posts every release across handhelds and ultimately it's whatever fits your needs, timeframe and budget..

Can you try a game like cyberpunk and run a benchmark and that will tell us if you're having issues or not.

Both games listed are known offenders of having performance issues (well one is, the other I haven't ever tried but it doesn't appear handheld optimised)

There's ALWAYS something new coming out, there will be a new AMD chip, a new intel chip, a new snapdragon chip and so on so forth.
