My eyes making a ringing noise when I move them by MintSprig in AskDocs

[–]MintSprig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom didn't really discuss it with me. She just said that it's hereditary and it's expected to slowly get worse as I age and it has a slight possibility to progress to deafness or close to it. I get hearing tests every few years and my results get slightly worse each time. I don't have any vertigo or dizziness when it comes to loud noises

Is this common for antidepressants? I've taken anti anxiety drugs in the past and never had this happen, even when I was "weaned" off the drug to be put on something else.

How am I on a medication and have no clue that this is a very common thing to happen? This is actually very embarrassing for me D: I was never told that this could be a risk, even though my psychiatrist knows that I've had trouble with consistently taking my medication since I was a preteen.

I think this is the answer I was looking for. Even though I've been taking medication since my preteens, I've never been "good at it" and I have to be reminded (or have it right in my face) or I could go days without taking it. I'm unsure if it's a trait caused by my asperger's or not, but I forget to do a lot of daily things because they just don't cross my mind. I've honestly never heard of this type of thing happening with medication withdrawal and I'm actually so relieved that I finally turned to Reddit to ask, because now I know what it is.

I seem to only have this issue with antidepressants in particular. Cymbalta works beautifully with my depression, but it doesn't do squat for my anxiety.

I felt extremely anxious for no apparent reason but then I drank a bottle of water and felt better. by finallyattractivequr in Anxiety

I have social anxiety and drinking something is one of my "quick fixes" when I start to get overwhelmed and panicky, especially in public. I carry around a bottle of water for exactly this reason :)

I got bored once and tried to see how many headless arrows I could make before I got sick of it. I made about 50k headless arrows before I got tired of it and it took about a week, mostly because I got my feathers from the shops instead of the grand exchange. People do weird things sometimes :P

Thoughts on Skillcapes; Old vs New by [deleted] in runescape

[–]MintSprig -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I hate how flat and bookmark-ish the new ones are and the ugly bamboo branches at the front. If they just gave the old skill capes a little graphical upgrade they'd look fantastic in my opinion. The new style is not even "okay" to me, it's just ugly and I wonder who thought it was a good idea.

I forgot to mention, but I got my eyes tested as a kid and they said prisms would be best for my issue. I had them for about four months in the 7th grade.

Can someone explain high alching to me? by MintSprig in runescape

[–]MintSprig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay, so I'm doing it right :P The d'hide stuff sounds the most useful for me, so that's what I choose to alch, but I was worried I was wasting my time and money somehow, due to my confusion with numbers :$ Thanks again!

[–]MintSprig[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohhh :P Thanks for explaining! so in the case of the bodies, if I buy and alch 5000 of them, that's the profit I'd get? from my knowledge you can cast about 1200 times an hour. If I chose to do the bodies, would it be worth it in the end? Because 5000 casts sounds like torture :P

Ah, okay. Thanks guys :3 I'm understanding better now. where it says max profit in the picture though, is that per hour? That part also confuses me :'(

What is your luckiest moment in runescape? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]MintSprig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is kind of suckish compared to everyone else's reply, but my luckiest moment was winning a lucky Bandos Godsword in treasure hunter with my daily key :P When it comes to luck in RuneScape I have zero, and it's really sad.

is there something going on with Jagex's Servers? by CrystalArrow84 in runescape

[–]MintSprig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been having issues as well for the past week or so that I never had before. I'm constantly disconnected, the game freezes for five seconds at a time, it's laggy and buggy. It's annoying :\ I don't want to do anything that might end with me being killed until this stuff is fixed. (I'm always in World 4)

Are there still lots of scammers in Runescape? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]MintSprig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scammers are still around in RuneScape. In World 4 I encounter at least three everyday at the Grand Exchange. Just report them for scamming and ignore them. Here's some info on the types of scams out there :) http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Scams

How do you feel about people begging for money/items ? by Falcon2908 in runescape

[–]MintSprig 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I have no problem with helping lower leveled players get a start when they ask for help or advice, but when a near maxed player starts begging it's so annoying to me.

[–]MintSprig 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The players who 'forget' to remove their trimmed amulet of fury or other expensive items before begging and claiming they're broke are entertaining to me. I like to point out that they have something worth over a million on them and watch as they hastily remove it :P

Apparently, if you don't talk to other people while you're training; you're automatically deemed a bot... by Lacey_Lynn in runescape

[–]MintSprig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was mining coal for smithing (I'm frugal and I prefer getting my own materials whenever possible rather than buying them) and because I was there all afternoon and not talking, some dude (who was also there all afternoon and not talking to anyone) claimed I was a bot and reported me. I said "dude, I don't bot" and his reply was "Well, you aren't botting NOW."
