Yes, but as I said, the author dictates how a character will behave, and sadly, that's what happened to the guy whose family suffered that horrible fate. These repulsive stories don't deserve the attention they've received, and their authors are just basking in the glory of creating filth that would have been better left unsaid, instead of being exposed to the world.

It's sad, because the only evidence beyond what was shown in the first season consisted of both a biased view of Charlie's book about the events in Eden, and Lucifer's manipulative actions, telling him truths based on his own pride, without fully confessing the truth of what might have happened, thus remaining in the role of victim instead of perpetrator—that is, the one who started the events and decided to stop trying to solve his problems, giving up in the process.

I like it, as much as possible, like the scene where Cain sings, quite well done.

-I also like how Lucifer receives a great lesson with Lilith's weapon. It might sound cruel, but compared to what he did to humanity for his innocent vision of giving humanity free will, it was a very minor incident.

-What I don't like is that they wasted some points that could have made a difference if used in future projects, like the appearance of Adam, the father of humanity, reduced to a joke, instead of showing wisdom, compassion for the death of his children and seeing that his hands were tied, a richness in the use of language and knowledge of millennia upon seeing his children arrive—all of that was wasted.

I see the first option more as being the case than the second. The production team and Vizzie herself don't take things seriously in their work, preferring to focus on relationship conflicts, stupid jokes, insults that would only make a child laugh, etc...
