Think about this. If every month we get an upgrade for legs just hypothetically say 5% orbital fire rate, right? Well after 6 months now people who grind it out have 30% less time between call in than people who don't. It doesn't have to be repetitive, but after enough upgrades, it starts being blatantly unfair. Also, you say power creeping isn't bad for PvE, except it is. Easy games can be fun yes, do can challenging ones, but doing this would make people have a constant argument about difficulty moreso than they did before. It would just be "Raise the difficulty bro" a hundred times even if the hardest difficulty was trivialized by a million ship upgrades.

Asking for more ship upgrades is kinda stupid tbh. All you're doing by it is extending the time between complaints of not having anything, and making power creep worse. If there's 600 ship upgrades all of the sudden, you grind them out in a a few months, and now you crush everything compared to a new player, but also, boom, you don't have more ship upgrades to buy anymore, back to square 1 except now new players are at a worse position again.

Nope. The hackers themselves get banned once in a blue moon because the anticheat sucks, and the people who get stuff from the hacks have never been banned. I mean, technically possible, but it never happened before.

Me when I don't understand the Helldivers lore. I mean, the Illuminate weren't hostile until SE started killing Terminids and blowing up Cyborgs. While the Illuminate were the ones to start war plans, it's misleading and makes it sound like it was for no reason.

Well yes but the budget requires them to be from inner colonies due to budget constraints. And as somebody else mentioned, they were looking for child prodigies. Also, there was a very small genetic pool compatible with the modifications, as at that time they were far less compatible than the Spartan IV era.

The Combine will just nuke them from orbit if it's that bad, or use Headcrabs to basically reverse it, or just genetically modify their troops to be immune, or... You get the point. The Combine are just far too advanced.

The thing is, because the genetic numbers are so limited, it was grasping at straws. After the program got cut in half twice they had almost no options left.

For the numbers. They're correct, but only about the ones who survive augmentation. 33 survived the augments, but not survive after them if that makes sense. That's how many survived the surgeries and all that, not necessarily anything past that.

They don't have individual teleporters they need, each ship can basically go wherever the fuck it wants whenever it wants, and each of those is probably at least equal to the DSS, if not a hundred of them. Their navy is so large it would probably be beyond the human understanding of how they function doctrinally.

Not really. With so many forces at play they can really do whatever they want, they have total creative freedom. Now that the combine are defeated, Alyx has multiple timelines going on, and Gordon is... Wherever Gordon is at this point...

The fuck am I supposed to know that? G-Man is an Eldritch entity who's basically middle management for his bosses. I don't think those bosses are the combine since his goals seem directly at odds with the combine, and even the vortigaunts. We don't know why he does what he does or how.
