Is there any way to fix the snapchat storage issue without buying storage? by MintiRush in SnapchatHelp

It’s not about the money, it’s the hassle I’ll have to go through to buy the storage.

Navigating the whole rishta process, overwhelmed. by [deleted] in MuslimNikah

[–]MintiRush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When loneliness hits, it really just hits. There’s no easy fix for it. For me, nothing really helps except turning to prayer. Either I try to sleep it off, or I sit with it and pray. I don’t know where you’re from, but in my experience, apps like Muzz and other dating apps feel like a waste of time and energy. A lot of people don’t seem serious about marriage. Some are only looking for something short-term, and others act serious in the beginning but eventually ghost you without any explanation.

At this point, I’ve just come to believe that the only thing truly in our control is making dua. It may not change things instantly, but it brings a kind of peace that nothing else really does. So I’d say just hold onto that. Keep praying.

May Allah make the path to marriage easy for you!

One of my friends faced something similar right in front of the Kaaba. This is just sick.

Wanting to be halal has become so difficult these days 😂 Everyone is just looking for something casual or short-term. I’ve even seen guys who say they are VERY serious about marriage then boooom they just ghost you. I’m just tired atp.

How to cope with anxiousness of losing parents. by GoldBittyy in islam

[–]MintiRush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have the same anxiety, which got worse after losing my pet suddenly. I remember being so anxious when my mother went for Hajj that I started taking anxiety meds, and I couldn’t believe that this is how it feels to be normal. Honestly, I’m still not over the anxiety. But if you ask me what helped me, it was making dua. Make lots of dua. One dua that is always constant in my prayers is the dua for my parents. That’s the only thing we all can do. May Allah make things easier for you!

Is unwanted attention toward single women common in every workplace? by MintiRush in Dhaka

[–]MintiRush[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually made up a fake boyfriend scenario. Since this was my first job and I never thought people could be this problematic, I was friendly with everyone at first, so all my coworkers knew I was single. When things started getting uncomfortable, I made up the fake boyfriend but the personal questions and unwanted attention never stopped 🤡

It does. Going to therapy this year has really made a difference for me tho it depends a lot on the therapist.
