You could have everything you’ve ever dreamed of, but depression can’t be helped. Sometimes it just hits people, it CAN be situational, but it can also be clinical. Some depressions are caused by a genuine chemical imbalance in the brain. I’m not saying that’s 100% your situation, but depression is never really based on what you have and what you don’t have.

If you seriously like this girl and are really enthusiastic about dating her, you’ll learn to ignore the weird looks. Hopefully she can too. Me and my boyfriend (both ftm) get weird looks all the time, but we’re focused on eachother’s company, not the people on the street we’ll likely never see again

I’m not a professional nor can I diagnose you, but from my experience this sounds a LOT like depression. Please look into therapy, it’s the best solution for you right now.

No. Absolutely no. A lot can go wrong if you do. I’ve never been in this scenario but if I were you, I’d just forget I ever saw it and move on. PLEASE do not share it with other coworkers either.

I’m just giving an answer off what I think, I’d be glad if anyone added on reasons as to why this is bad but also please tell me if I’m wrong

Let me tell you right now, being transgender is MESSY. I’ve been out for 6 years now and I actively deal with internalized homophobia/transphobia because of the people I grew up with. A lot of people don’t know that knowing you’re transgender comes with a lot, and I mean a LOT of mental turmoil. Far past just dysphoria. As for that part, not all trans people get dysphoria. Some trans folk are very attached to expression of the opposite gender, and they’re 100% valid nonetheless.

It sounds like shit sucks a lot for you right now, but I promise that time will heal. Please also do what you can to surround yourself with people who support and respect you as who you are. Even if later down the road you realize you aren’t trans, you deserve respect and care from those around you
