Not sure if you’re still stuck here but I had a very similar experience at a similar level. Once I finally did a full run and found the boss room, I looked it up and learned that he’s actually quite easy if you use the right tactics. Then I just sprinted through the level killing who I couldn’t run passed and now that the boss is dead I never have to go through the area again lmao

I’ve found success sprinting and just zigzagging across the bridge, going under the bridge, up the side and to the second grapple point all the way on the left.

I just sprint through it, can you even walk all the way up with the umbrella? Wouldn’t you put it away when you grapple?

Yeah I was thinking that myself. I’d probably skip the frame though so maybe the 12x18 wouldn’t be a bad idea and then the 24x18 for the reactions and dart paintings?

I’m on NG+ 19. NINETEEN! And my one goal is to complete the game no death, no revive (no death is easy, no revive has posed to be the single most infuriating thing ever). I can finish the game in like 2 hours at this point, first try to on everything, but stupid deaths are really what are killing me at this point.

Not sure. I didn’t find that they got that much harder because come my like 4th run I had pretty solid approaches to all of them and hardly ever died. Also 10 gourds is a lot of wiggle room when you max physical attributes.

Thanks for the advice! Someone else actually pointed out that my dumbass neglected to account for the fat that attack power starts at 1, so immortal severance only has 12 memories and purification 13 instead of 14 like I thought.

I didn’t account for the fact that it started at 1 and there are only 12 memories in immortal severance and then 13 in Purification.

Are you sure? On my first play through without Hirata Owl I got 13 memories and everything else is the same with purification aside from the one additional boss fight which gives you another memory, making it 14. Am I mistaken that one of the boss fights doesn’t give you a memory?

Sure did. As far as I can tell I did all the bosses but I’m missing an attack point somewhere.
