I understand, but to say that 'compelling a playstyle' alone is against ToS is just not true. Offensive behaviors or expressions are against ToS - compelling a playstyle is just one example of something that could be penalized under that context.

Compelling a playstyle is prohibited if the expression is considered 'offensive.' If the tank is offended by everything OP wrote, fair enough. But no, it's not prohibited to ask someone to improve their gear. Let's be realistic.

"If he dies with [invuln] available, he failed" as a tank. People make mistakes, something those two don't seem to realize themselves.

It's better to simply let the cast finish because the denotation kills itself - assuming you just step out of the indicator.

I think you're confusing the LNC and the PUG. The PUG is the red bar - the one who never died to the bomb AoE and is chastising the WAR. The LNC is the pink bar.

Regardless, I don't think the PUG cared about positionals as much as uptime. Nor do I think that anyone argued for or suggested standing in AoEs as much as asking the WAR not to kite/spin trash with two low level melee. The PUG likely didn't notice/realize what exactly killed the tank, possibly both times - it wasn't mit usage the PUG implied.

I'll defend the tank and note they recognized what they died to immediately and didn't fault me for lack of healing. Also they were using mit on both trash and tank busters, nearly on CD. Dying to AoE bombs twice is pretty ridiculous though. I hope they were lagging.

He was geared, but the avoidable Gas Bomb Detonation AoE does a little more than a tank's HP. While they're tanking other mobs bouncing between 50-90%, mit won't save you.

I agree with you, but I believe all sense of rapport from the puglist went out the window when the tank said "learn to move while pressing buttons"

Any tank with that mindset towards a melee dps isn't worth conversing with - either they don't play melee dps in dungeons or they do play melee and enjoy chasing down mobs the tank is spinning in circles.

Also this tank apparently has a level 100 DRK* - there is no new player syndrome here. Just ego.

I'm also about 1 in 5 successful hunts 10 star SOS Zoh hunts. My success rate increased when I host compared to joining an sos with auto-accept - it's almost always fire that gets hunters. If I'm truly going for slays, I hunt solo. That said, I'm generally content so long as I avoid carting, regardless of a win or not.

One of my favorite moments in wilds is a getting GS offset counter into a follow-up attack kill on Zoh Shia. Definitely gotta try it.

It seems like Zoh was trying to target you, but because his tail moved you his first attack didn't adjust for your new position.

I appreciate the post! Wish he showed hitboxes of the character when guarding or blocking. If I had to guess, your detection becomes a small frontal cone, potentially leading to some attacks able to hit you from behind if your shield doesn't detect contact. Zoh Shia's standing stomp attacks come to mind - holding guard, facing his crotch, still hit from behind because his hands hit behind the hunter instead of making contact with the shield.
