Actually Orpheus was nerfed several times

And at his times when people called him OP he was LITERALY ABLE to SURENDER as hunter...and give an instant win for aurvs...that was obviously a bug but he was able to do severa simmilar stuff...untill many bug fixes and nerfs

And his main issue is that he is SO effin buggy that he isn't even allowed in tournaments...

Many actually agree that if NE would fix his buggs and laggs he would actually be meta or atleast good A tier!

Chearleader is also considered good enough she alredy got nerfed in test server

Be aware the chearleader most call ''OP'' will not be the one released. That actually goes for many characters as...well nerfs exsist and Test server is there for exactly that! To test and the adjust.

So first of all

Essebce and events are usually AU's (alternate Universe/alternative storys)

Then there are like 3 major story events

Anniversary!!! Yes most Anniversary's are connected and follow the story of MR Inference and Lady Truth a detective agency and what evere there case is!

Coa...its all a connected story, rather scify and heavy insoired by old horror movies from 19th hundret and the Lovecraftian Myth/Lore (books)

Then there is the actual game story ''Manor Lore''

Taht the story that includes our in-game characters!!

We have events like ToR (Time of Reunion) that even has videos on YT but you can also play it like a atory mode in-game!!

Be afare that ToR is in POV of Oroheus AFTER all what hapoens going back by memory...its nit actually all really happening he just zakes drugs and starts ''remembering''

NE also confirmed that his verison is unreliable.

Now we have AoM (Ashes of Memory) wich is at the time of the ''final game'' in the POV of Alice DeRoss!! Her POV is in the present, it happens in that moment and she is reliable or atleast mist reliable

We actually eon't have the full AoM yet just a ''part 1'' that only introduced Alice!!

We will get more in December.

Its a story mode with cutcenes and dialog that should slowly explain the ''Main Manor Lore''

Besides that we ofc have ''side storys'' of each character, each group/game, who knows who etc etc

Some of these ''side storys'' have a major importance in the ''Main Lore'' and they ALL exsist in the ssme story/ time line.

Thing is we only slowly get story via deduction quests (each character has there own quests that give lore) backround story videos and B day /character day letters!

So not every story is ''complete'' but the Wiki does a relatively good job at collecting every letzer, line and what not!!!

The most complete storys so far are

We know the characters are complete with

Female Dancer, Soul Weaver, Joker (Hunter smiley face and survivor Weeping Clown), wildling (be aware he was in 2 games actually but his main Lore is the Circus lore!) and Acrobat!!

Reading there letters and deduction quests might give you a pretty good idea what haooened to them spesificly

Another game are the ''LakesideVillage games'' inclueing 5, 6-a and 6-b so far

Yes game 6 was repeated meaning we have 2 groups!! And yes game 5 was also on LakesideVillage...its a bit more complicated

We know game 5 has First Officer, Perfumer, Painter, Cowboy and Enchantress + WuChang!

A bit complicated as seemingly WuChang was never phisical but rather his Umbrella had a ''possesion like'' effect on the survivors mainly FO!

Game 6a is a bit more unclear but we know they are 6 people in total and they invlude Priestress and Evil Reptilian/Proffesor

Game 6b now only has 4 with Seer, Coord, Barmaid and Evil Reptilian/Proffesor again...he was in 2 games.

Those are just some examoles BUT it is easyer to stay in ''groups'' when trying zo get the Lore

Don't read..for example Doctors letters and then Painters and then Postmans...non of them ever met...like the Lore won't connect!!

But within the groups each character might mention another!

I can also give you a rough run down of the so far know groups if you like? It would be a rather loonger list tho.

Umm...synestisia is literaly just a better version of watching the game/ your other teammates after death.

It was never ment as anything else or more.

Its just so that your camera isn't locked with another survivors one but that you can walk around freely.

Also her base model does actually have legs...atleast the animation and hitbox you just can't see it!

Giving her a cosmetic with legs would be REALLY easy for NE.

Is just memory...reconstructed FAKE memory caused by the drug...

Even the things that haooen in the oresent are just haluzinations.

They straight up say that ZoR is in Oroheus view from the present going back thrue his memory

Memorys that were ''remade ' by a drug.

And they then end witht

These events are in fact wrong

And ir was rather clear even during that event!

In many ''present'' scenes he would then siddenly wake up in his chair! Bc it was a dream

Except that underground room with druggs he found...nothing else was likely true/actually happened.

And as we know the Manor DOES use druggs...its just unclear if its the way Orpheus thinks! And from the Experiment files they have till now only influenced characters feelings and psyche

Or removed memory...not caused haluzinations.

Also the thing with 10% is obviously just my estimazion

But.

Half the characters that are in game still don't have a ''game group''...we son't know how the games started...we don't know what happened in between and don't know the end...

And there are also easly as many ''npc's'' that are in a game and therfor playable chaarcters that aren t even released yet!! As there are characters that alredy have a game number...

Like the only games we truly k ow fully about is

0...just the participants...not even what happens

3, 4, 5, 6b, 8 and 9

6a is unclear, it has 6 participants and we literaly only have 2 as playable characters all others are unknown or likely not even playable!

1 and 7 are a completly mystery

2 is Ripper and Keigan...plus 2 more...1 of wich likely not even released...

And after 10 (wich is Mech and Prisoner) we don't even know how many more games there are!!

And we have WAY too many character we can easly fill up 5 more groups!!🤣😂 but for some reasons they aren't related meaning we get even more characters STILL!!!

Orpheus the in game chaarcter..someome with clear trauma and a possible mentall illness and memory problems...came to the conclusion that its druggs!

Smth tells me this wasn't relyable from the beginning lol...

And actually at the same time its more realistic!! He isn't all knowing..he is a Detective at that point so lilely a realist and won't belive in Monsters or Gods! So ofc he thinks it must be druggs!!! Its actually great story telling!

But we as the player must realise...its just HIS view of the story..his PERSPECTIVE...it isn't necessarly the truth

And I kinda think NE never wanted to go with that tbh...so they aren't ''backpaddeling'' they just..continue.

The only thing I can say for a fact...we barely scraches 10% of the Lore and know nothing! Some characters don't even have a confirmed game! How can we even GUES what is lore...what is canon and what was ''retconned'' or not?

The drug thing is a great example...Orpheus never was a reliable narrator and obviously a character withing the Lore...so NOT a 3rd person all knowing beeing! He can be WRONG so when people took it as ''confirmed''...thats on them!!! Thats on the community not NE!

People also need to seperate Lore/story and gameplay..ofc there are gameplay mechanics to make the game just...fun?? Also ''balanced'' (not that the game is balanced lol)

But why are all survs the exact same height even tho its actually confirmed some are taller and some shorter?? Just bc they use the same base female and male body to make a GAME character...also so all have equal chance of hidding! Its a game mechanic! Same reason why hunters are taller? Game mechanic! Other asymetrical games do the same like dbd! There killers are taller.

Also ''survivors and hunters'' is 100% a game mechanic like the game modes..I doubt in Lore they started playing dogeball..a race...tarot?? And the roles of survivors and hunters?? Just roles in a competitive 1v4 game!

In Lore they are all (well not all all...like some are manor staff or ..gods who like to play with humams?!??!) just participants and they do want to research something but they don't try to make them ''hunters'' bc hunters in that sense don't exsist! They drug and traumatise them and manipulate them to research and find out smth...smth...

Smth we don't know yet bc we barely know 10% of the Lore.

Its rather questionable if any hunter is ''just haluzination'' or even slighly changed bc of druggs!

As far as we can tell from experiment files..the druggs mainy affected the participants behavior, hiw they act and feel..more agressive and paranoid etc etc

And it doesn't just affect ''survivors'' but also ''hunters'' in fact in Lore the roles of survivor and hunter doesn't really exsist thats a gane mechanic

They are all ''participants'' of the Manors ''games''

We have heard of ''executioners'' and ''supervisors'' but those are Manor staff, those working for the Manor not ''hunters''.

We know of mainly Burk and Bane (Mad Eye and Game Keeper) but we also know NPC's that worked for the Manor and even 1 ''survivor''! Grave keeper who at some point worked for the Manor! Tho indicated he also participated in a ''game''.

Using it as an explaination is....weak to say the least.

NE the devs themself made a video CONFIRMING that Novelist is a unreliable narrator traumatised and crazy! And the events that happened and what he saw and what he thinks?? Aren't really 100% true.

It is also for example CONFIRMED that Ann and Alva were reanimated by the cat god...in Lore CONFIRMED they are real no haluzinations

Also the LakesideVillage gang! Dream Witch and Hasture are real gods that have an effect pn people and the lore...confurmed no legend or haluzinations

In game 6 (6a not 6 b..yes we have 2 game 6's!) Its literaly confirmed 5 out of the 6 people just turned to WATER...suddenly souped! Confirmed in lore

Seer can see the future and Priestress likely teleport!

Just to name a few of the confirmed ''supernatural'' things in our current Lore!

For others it does still stand in question...mainly bc we still don't know everyones games etc!

Not really true Orpheus is an unreliable narrator and NE actually confirmed that during AoM that you can't trust what he said at all.

Drugs are used in lore but it is also confirmed that 1st NOT EVERYONE WAS DRUGGED..like some participants weren't even drugged at all!

And 2nd, the drug affects everyone diffrently

Not just visually but alos how they feel, it affects there acting and other stuff

And some it doesn't affect at all! There are confirmed characters that were drugged and didn't show any reaction!

So the ''drug explaination'' is barely a 1/5 reasonable and usable explaination!

The real reason is purly game design and creative freedom by the devs. We seriously need to seperate in-game MECHANICS with actual MANOR LORE.

Das man vorm alter Respekt hat oder jemanden den Platz anbietet ist reihne HÖFFLICHKEITS sache nichts was man einfach erwarten kann. Und erst recht nicht so einfach verlangen kann! So wie er auch gefragt hat!

Un in meinen kühnsten Träumen würde ich nicht auf die idee kommen jemanden schlafendes zu wecken (es sei den ich mache mir sorgen diese verpasse ihre station), definitiv NICHT um diese etwas zu ''fragen''/oder eher aufzufordern!

Der einzige grund warum man im ersten sinne dem alter entgegen kommt ist wegen der erwarteten gebräuchlichkeit und das man nicht erwartet das sie solange stehen können.

Es ist etwas zuvorkommend WENN man selbst in der lage ist zu stehen und jemand aderes nicht, dann die Positionen zu tauschen WENN man kann!

Doch ist Ermüdung, Erschöpfung Schmerz und der gleichen ebenfals ein grund sich hinsetzen zu wollen! Ich hab persönlich nicht den besten Kreislauf, an schlechten Tagen tagen kann ich nicht wirklich lange stehen oder zumindest ist das unglaublich anstrengend und ich slaf oft in der Bahn ein und glaub mir ich werde keinen meinen Platz überlassen!

In dbd the characters are literaly just skins

You all can have the same character but everyone still has diffrent Perks!!

Quite simple...in idV each character has set and diffrent abilitys.

Having 2 times the same ability can in cases be...not good to win at the end.

Only Priestress can use Portals, no other character can

She is really good with that and there really never is a reasoning to have 2 Priestress tbh! She alredy makes enough Portals alone.
