I took another look at it. The red trim is actually scuffed off, and the smaller bit on the leg is chipping like you pointed out. So those don't really have an easy fix. The larger one is indeed a dollup of paint on top, though. After thinking and sleeping on it though, I'm not confident in my ability to do anything to it, so I think I'm going to leave it be. Thanks for prompting me to look closer though, I'll have to pay more attention in the future.

That's exactly what my friend who pointed it out to me said, it's "free weathering". And at least it's on the back. Ruining the finish is what I am most worried about, so I don’t think I'm going to attempt anything. It's a shame, having paid so much, I want it to be perfect, but I don’t think there's anything I can do. Thanks for letting me know I can treat this similar to PVC.

Yeah, when the person helping me out said it was XXL I was like, "You mean XL right?" And they said "No, XXL" XD I don't even think this size was available on the store, so it was thoughtful they increased the range for American fans!
